I’m so underwhelmed by the dismal standard of design of all the improvements. They all have a utilitarian look about them, circa 1970. What a missed opportunity.
@@JEK it makes a lot of sense if so, and a really missed opportunity if not. Given how crowded LAX gets during the holidays, having the APM be ready for them will be a great first trial for the new system.
@@wiz553hopefully it could be ready in time for the holiday travel rush. LA Metro was saying Fall 2024 for the LAX Metro Center station, and the APM is supposed to open at the same time.

The stations look pretty dramatic when they are light up at night. They are way larger than the video perception portrays.
Almost done is something you can say for years. Sandbagging to highest degree. Not you (thanks for the update) but them.
"No sign of any work being done" pretty much sums up the whole project. Apparently the operational dates have been moved well into 2025 now.

Haven't heard of that, I know of construction and upgrades of the runway currently underway.
