Your mic quality is just fine- I can understand you perfectly and there are no annoying background noises. Anyone complaining can pound sand- or buy you a new mic, I suppose!
I’ve heard the theory that- if we liken the fade to an internet connection- the dwarves just aren’t WiFi compatible and need something to ‘wire’ them to it- so a titan. I wonder if that is true, could mythal have replaced a titan to make them all her underlings (perhaps to mine her lyrium??) and ended up messing something up?

Just going to slap my tinfoil hat on for a sec. I always wonder at the relationship between Ghilan'nain and Solas. It seems like the game goes out if its way to establish some sort of connection between the two sometimes. Here's a little collection oddities that piqued my interest:
-The codex entry referenced here about Solas potentially convincing her to preserve her water monsters (with these monsters seemingly appearing to oppose the player character in the new concept art) when the Evanuris ordered her to destroy her monsters, which begs the question of *why*. Did he see a use for them against the Evanuris at that point? How close were they that he could convince her to disobey the orders of the Evanuris? Another point related to this is that she is set apart from the other gods in some ways. While it could have been to protect the people (seems out of character for the Evanuris), another reason the gods may have ordered her to destroy all of her creations was perhaps out of fear of her power and a desire to control it?
-She seemed to be a little rebellious at times given the codex you get after drinking from the Well that tells you she convinced one of Dirthamens followers to commit treason and transform into what likely was a dragon, a crime deferred to Elgarnan by Mythal (who probably literally the roasted the guy). Was there a legitimate political reason Ghilan'nain did this or was she just being a little sociopathic rascal and causing a ruckus?
-Solas irritably reminding Bran Kenric of her name in JoH DLC. This ones weak of course but still always caught my attention. He tends to be quite polite, he seemed quite salty 🤷‍♀️
-In the last video Corseque posted, we heard Solas' dialogue about a past betrayal. When you tell him youll rely on your friends he says
"I know that mistake well enough to carve the angles of her face from memory." While it could refer to Mythal in some capacity (I doubt he'd be implying Mythal betrayed him), it's possible it could be another woman. Perhaps Ghilan'nain was a friend/ally but chose to keep her power and status in the Evanuris rather than joining his rebellion, maybe she even contributed to Mythal's murder
-She seems like she's going to play a significant role. There are many codex entries about her compared to some of the other gods, artworks depicting her in-game, the halla are a huge staple and appear in other codex entries (some of which could be referring to her [i.e. "the halla"] in the same way solas/pride/wolf is used to sneakily refer to Egg Boy), and the inclusion of the Horror of Hormak in Tevinter Nights seems telling
-Random thought, no proof in-game: Before she ascended to the Evanuris I wonder if she and Solas would have been on a similar level in court, with him as Mythal's guardian and her serving Andruil in some way?
You have reached the end of my rambles ⭐ This is all I can think of right now, if I'm missing something please yell at me

I've actually been doing a playthrough in inquisition recently and in the Hinterlands, there's an old ruin (where you get the Saga of Tyrdda Bright-Axe, Avvar Mother second stanza lore) where there's a mural of a giant dark wolf creature with one of its arms around a smaller, seemingly female being of white which has horns like a halla. I found that super interesting. I need to go back and read the lore piece you get there but I could see it as Solas an Ghilan-nain

@@adamweaver8890 there is similar painting in skyhold stables and in upper flor in armory, but i read that the black beast is a bear, not a wolf.

    • @noopnoop8383
      @noopnoop8383 4 года назад +4

@@adamweaver8890 Yes! like Joanna said I think it is a bear. However, one of the symbols of Dirthamen is a bear. It would be interesting if the mural was depicting Dirthamen and Ghilan'nain given that codex entry about Ghilan'nain convincing one of Dirthamen's people to commit treason. Whether they're hugging or conspiring or he's trying to eat her, I cant say
Unrelated to Ghilan'nain (as far as we know) but I was just skimming through Dirthamen's wiki article to procrastinate doing homework and in the gallery it shows a picture of a statue of him in the fade bleeding from a sword in its back 😗 I never noticed that in-game! Apparently you see the bleeding statue in the same area of the fade where you find Flemeth/Mythal, and you're guided there by a pointing statue of Falon'din?? I would give my left arm to get some answers to this mess, because being stabbed in the back typically depicts betrayal right? Solas and Mythal both said they had been betrayed, I wonder who betrayed Dirthamen
His temple is still the scariest part of the whole game for me 😬

There’s also the staff that he’s holding in his tarot card. You know the one with the halla head. But sure it can symbolize the (elven) people.
Many people believe that he’s wearing a wolf’s jawbone as a necklace. Well, someone made a research and...nope. Just google wolf’s jawbone - that thing is huge and way different than what he’s wearing. His jawbone resembles something that belonged to a deer.
Solas’ remark in Ghilan’nain’s grove - it’s peaceful here
Huge halla statues in suspicious places
      Etc etc.
So yeah, I’m with you - there’s something going on with Solas and Ghilan’nain.

Wow I never thought of the idea that Solas might have been a servant of Mythal. There is a line where Cole says "it left a scar when she burned her off your face." Or something like that.
Also I wonder how advanced the Dwarves were before the elves invaded? I mean if the Sha brytal are any indication they were pretty advanced and even then I suspect they only know a small fraction of the " lyrium tech" the ancient dwarves had.

Maybe another possibility for the "well-wrought" sea creatures are The Executors, since they apparently smell like the ocean and have some other quirks and inner workings (eg: their voice), that the people of Thedas can't really comprehend.
Personally, this is not one of my favourite theories, because I would love to see other new races and societies separate from Thedas (like whatever is happening over in Voshai), but it would fit with Solas to stop the genocide of a people. Maybe what has happened to the Executors is what happened later to the Qunari regarding their creation... (Sea Creatures+???= Executor, Dragon+???= Qunari)

So glad you made another delve into dai lore! Something tho that I noticed about the mural that depicts Solas' ascension: the symbol in the Titan's heart differs only from the symbol in Solas' foci is that the latter is longer and thinner, suggesting some sort of refinement process? So many answers here but I still have more questions 😖

Was there a piece of lore from Orgins that said something about Arlathen being sunk into the ground?
If Arlathen was sunk could it possibly be underground now and accessible by the deep roads? Possibly pulled under by a titan?
Not sure if the timing is right but this could have been why the ancient elves went to war with the titans. Or maybe a titan pulled it under for being attacked.
Just a thought, I may be misremembering the first game.

It makes me think about the beginning of the Evanuris. 1. Elgar’nan threw down his father, the “sun”. For some reason I always felt a connection between Solas/Solar and the Sun. With a lighthouse being the new retreat in DA:TV this makes me feel more curious. 2. Could Solas really mean “Soul less” as in he kept all of himself but sacrificed his soul to create the second of his children? Imparting his soul into his children so they could walk the fade and inspire the first of children (spirits) to create replicas in their world? 3. Mythal stepped from the seas to calm Elgar’nan. Did the Titan realize her son needed a guide to help control his rage? Could he have become the first corrupted creature (demon) of the Titan? And as all lyrium related things begin to lose memory or become unstable, did HE kill Mythal? I have so many questions and thoughts. I can’t wait for Veilguard! I hope we finally get answers!

someone here? 4 orbs in the shatterred library with some mini-statues of mythal and fen'harel looks like they were used for childs to play(looks like bawling or smth). it makes me think(if it is elvhen legacy not latter addition from some wanderers) that this orbs were something common among elvhen, perhaps every ancient elf had their own orb, even children, and it was only vessels for power( or maybe spirit/soul/ idk)...the strength depended on what the orb was filled with, mythal filled evanuris' orbs with titan's "hearts", what made them so very powerful that they became literally gods. but it caused some shitty consequences

Not sure I agree with the idea that the war Solas mentioned was necessarily against the Dwarves.
    Between what
Abelas says and what little we know of the Forgotten Ones it seems the Elves only ever warred with each other.
Of course the rest of it could be essentially correct if Mythal slew a Titan to (among other things) hijack it's "children", they'd be just more pawns in the ongoing war between the two greater Elven factions.
Note how dispassionately Solas seems to regard Dwarves and how it relates to a few things said by both him and Cole about everyone born without a conscious connection to the fade not being "real" people: "Like a world full of Tranquil." If they were past belligerents or victims then you'd expect some kind of feeling on his part, but there's nothing; it's as if they don't matter. They aren't real people to him.
Indeed, in a sense the Dwarves that have been separated from the Stone are tranquil. Even Dagna makes note of the correlation, and what we saw with Valta & what many suspect is going on with Sandal seems to support this.
As for the bit from the 'Canticle of Exaltations': if we are to assume it's referencing the Temple of Sacred Ashes, there are two pieces of evidence that seem to indicate that the site is 1) a Titan and 2) an Elven site of power.
The latter being the mysterious mural of Mythal that gets uncovered during the boss fight with Corypheus. The former being the abundance of lyrium under the site (it's up in the air whether the red lyrium was always there or the result of Corypheus and/or the Wardens infecting the local lyrium with the blight during the explosion.) What happens in world states where Leliana was "killed" there also seems to support this.
If there's a corralation between these nine "sacred mountains", the Evenuras and their foci; felled Titan hearts do seem to fit the pattern. It would indeed seem to track that this place specifically was where Corypheus chose to try and open the orb.

so..a titan went rogue the Evanuris (or Mythal) killed it with Solas. she and Solas took it and protected it from the other Evanuris who wanted to mine it and killed her so they could? I think reading Solas at everywhere that talk about pride is misleading I don't necessarily think everything is connected to him, there are pride demons too or her own pride about her creations. I think for the temple of secret ashes it was lyrium that got corrupted when it explodes and got in contact with Corypheus's blood. where the slaves' war came from? why Solas's questions to Varic about lyrium...more questions :'( I want more videos and DA4 !
