Knyzhov's attitude was always great, its a confidence thing. He was so good before hurting his leg, a devastating injury MCL/ACL, brutal!! I hope he can come back to the NHL someday...
agreed, overpay to get some grizzled vets/scoring, mikheyev wouldn't sign here lol.. treat em like gold, give em opps at trade deadline to their team of choice for taking the pain of early sacrificial seasons in this rebuild!!
I know this team is still going to be bottom of the league but damn it if I’m not excited to see some of the kids play and the level of compete overhauled this coming season. The playoffs just ended and I’m already itching for the preseason to start.
Would be a terrible look. Vlasic is an OG Shark, the team still needs to hit the cap floor. Let Pickles try to play his way out. With the cap rising the way it did this year, he could very well get traded at the end of his deal if he plays well. If not, his money will come off the books right when some of these young guys like Eklund or Zetterlund need new deals. Waiving Vlasic now won’t be good optics for attracting veteran free agents, IMO. Good eye on his NTC changing - that is interesting!
@@MattHarrison-j4g There's next to no chance he's traded unless it's a swap of bad deals. He's been bad for about 4 years now, so it's unlikely he'll play himself out of it now. It would take a monster of a season to make him remotely close to tradable, especially considering the Sharks don't have any retention slots. He's generally been about replacement level (worth a league minimum, 775k contract) at best for the last few years and his contract's 10x that amount. Also, as I said in my reply to damageinc, his NMC ended a year ago, not today.

Did anyone else notice that Macklin was the only drafty that had his number on his jersey?.His was 71. Every other drafty had the number 24.
Yeah, that's normal for the top pick. Bedard got 98 last year and everyone else had 23
14:00 We gave up a sixth and Cicek for him. The sixth was used by Vancouver to select Raffi Torres' second cousin.
On the latest DFO rundown Frank reported that he heard that Tyler Toffoli is on the Sharks radar for free agency 👀

Offer 10 mil to Marchessau and all their top targets to make Vegas worse and make their 2025 pick really high :)
The Cup for Pickles!!!!

Let's break Vegas fans' hearts by getting Marchy in free agency
Free Agency szn
Put Vlasic on waivers and send him to the Cuda. His NMC ends tonight and turns to a M-NTC.

That's incorrect. He's been on his 3-team NTC for a year now.
