San Jose is still one of my Favorite teams to watch play. This team definitely has gotten a lot better this off season so far. I look forward to seeing The Sharks re build in full swing.
Grier learned from his tenure and is upping the C depth another notch. Who expected that with Hertl, Couture, Granlund, Strum and Carpenter that Studnicka and Kunin would play center? He's also pre-planning for probable movement of Granlund, Kunin and Strum since all are on expiring contracts. This is a good time to get slightly above the salary floor with a few overpays.
@@Staxxx23 You never know, they jettisoned a lot of talent, they could finish 11th from the bottom and win the lottery with their 3% chance. Sure, it's unlikely, but it's not impossible.
How do you feel about these vets possibly taking roster spots from the young players that are ready to start getting NHL games, such as Smith and Musty? I know we had some prospects recently get mad they didn't have a road to playing time and we even picked up a player from the Preds for that reason. Seems to me like we should try and get our home grown talent on the ice as much as possible this coming season.
@@LockedOnSharks Thanks for correcting my spelling. Seeing how he finished the year I would love to see him make the roster. I understand we want to be more competitive but I still think we are at the point in the rebuild where age and potential plays a huge role. Plus I am worried if we don’t put him on the roster is sends a rough message to other youngsters, again considering how he finished last year. Thanks for your replies/input btw!
@@whoopswrongbutton3987 Grier has said he wants the kids to earn it. So he is going to have to earn it. He is one of the big storylines of training camp
So crazy that Toffoli said Celebrini is a reason he wanted to come here. Celebrini could go down as the most important player in franchise history!

Think of this line...That 70's SHOW... Celebrini 71, Eklund 72, Toffoli 73... SPEAK IT INTO EXISTANCE!!!
With the cap rising to 92 milli next year, gladly sign Draisaitl to 15 milli (hoping he leaves edm), draft more D men and address D in free agency 🙏🏻
Draft Hensler with our pick and Hagens with Vegas' (or Hensler and Tretheway doubling up on RHD depending on draft positions)
@@jonmendelson1104hagens will probably go 1st overall I don’t think we’ll get him with Vegas pick

More likely the Sharks land Hagens with their own pick vs the Vegas pick.
Offensively we should be way better but they just need to focus on goaltending and overall defense

Balance of wanting them to earn and not rushing them. It's also a very long season. I think Smith and Celebrini earn spots out of camp
@@LockedOnSharks do you think Bordello (spelling?) starts the season in the NHL?

The way the jersey behind him is folding in it looks like it says Slarks
Lousy Smarch weather
I wish we signed dilly back😢
Why would you want a traffic cone that starts fights and can't finish them

I’m curious where the Sharks prospect pool tanks after the draft.
Wym we still have a top 5 prospect pool

So, am hearing, here, more tanking. Just listen to tye nephew not to pursue " fakeries "
We are probly still very much last place. CHI got a lot better.
That's great news. Another top 3 pick would be amazing. Vegas just had a big shake up so hopefully they have a big set back as well
Anaheim is still ass
The Toffoli and Wennberg contracts both are bad and hurt the team.
Just a waste of resources.
just go away
