    Hi, there, definitely would like a "part II", and III and IV etc. Super useful video. I'm not necessarily interested in "trendy" but if you make your own, you can go really trendy or just adapt the bits you like and scrap the bits you don't, which is why this video is so helpful. Always like your videos anyway, but this one really speaks to me!!! Thanks.

    I sooo enjoyed the video. You gave me some ideas for fabrics I have for winters so thanks for that. In particular, I have the Ponte Pant pattern and some b/w checked ponte. So there's a match. I also have the Keith vest on order, and just got in a lovely stripe knit in autumn colors. Another match please keep doing this type of vlog. I really like it. Enjoy your weekend Sally

    I really enjoyed this. You did such a great job finding patterns to match the high street look. You have given me so many ideas for future sewing projects. I would definitely be interested in a part two. I love the fashions of the new Princess of Wales and wondered if you would be interested in finding patterns to match some of her looks. I especially love all her coats and jackets. It would awesome to recreate some of her clothes. Definitely add some knitting patterns and if possible maybe crochet patterns.

    Lots of good ideas for autumn and winter trends in your episode today. Like the idea of sewing a drop shoulder vest with knitted effect cable jersey fabric. Seen some online at Higgs and Higgs that was small cables and chevron design. Have you any idea how much fabric I would need to buy if I made the body of a drop shoulder sweatshirt pattern without the sleeves. Hope you enjoyed the K&S show. I’m going to the one in Harrogate so hope Higgs and Higgs have a stand there. Yes would like to see part 2 please x

    • @SecretLifeOfASeamstress
      @SecretLifeOfASeamstress  Год назад +1

      I saw that exact fabric on the Higgs and Higgs stand at the K&S show on Friday it's lovely!! Obviously it depends on what size you make and how long you want it but I can get a Jarrah Sweatshirt out of 1 metre of fabric with sleeves. That's making the smallest size. I think most knit fabrics come around 140-50cm wide which is a lot, I don't think you'd need any more than a metre. Have fun making one x

    Hi, great video I really enjoyed it it’s very useful and inspirational and yes would love a part two please 😊. I wondered if you would be interested in a book I’m reading, its ‘The Guernsey Literary and Potato peel pie Society’ and apart from a long and somewhat tongue twister of a title it’s a lovely book, set during the German occupation of Guernsey and was also made into a film. If you haven’t already read the book or seen the film I’m sure you would enjoy it. 😊

    • @SecretLifeOfASeamstress

      Ooh I know the book you mean and I've been meaning to read it for a while so thank you for the reminder. I've seen the film has been on at Christmas time but I always avoided watching it because I like to read things first. Thank you for watching, I'm glad you enjoyed it x

    Great selection and video! Very nice choices. I am not really a knitter but have done simple scarves and hats. I’d like to do a vest. I looked at the simple vest and the feedback was that it is not easy to follow and not a beginner pattern. Wondered what you thought about that as I’d really like to do one.
    Definitely do a part 2

    • @SecretLifeOfASeamstress
      @SecretLifeOfASeamstress  Год назад +1

      Thank you so much I’m glad you like the suggestions :) Which pattern was it that has those reviews? The simple vest on Etsy looks to have good reviews to me or do you mean the Petite Knit? I’ve had another look around and this one looks nice and easy on Love Crafts. Let me know if I can help anymore x
