I'm so glad to hear that Loki was able to put our exercise games to good use! I've never heard a more true statement - a happy toller is a tired toller! I love that! Thanks for the support!
@@ADuckTollerNamedSable do you know of any breeders anywhere near the Ohio area, or perhaps one that works with remote interested people? This breed is really beautiful in many ways, but rare and hard to get! Would love to get one in 2023, but I'd have to be very fortunate to do so. All the best w/Sable...!
@@randytolen9531 Hi Randy, I don't know of any specifically. I would encourage you to find a list of reputable breeders (available online!) or join some Facebook groups to find out. I would also encourage you to reach out to reputable breeders directly to make sure it's a good fit and that they can help figure out the puppy that is the best fit for you! Good luck!
Thank you! Unfortunately, yes she does if the towel gets to be used a few times. I find the more often I wash it, the less likely she is to rip it. So, now I was it every 3 uses or so. We always make sure to give her a towel that is deemed a "Sable towel." Thanks for watching!
@@ADuckTollerNamedSable Thanks for that! I was watching and thinking, wow, how does she get Sable to be so gentle! We are hoping to get a Toller or a Brittany this summer, and I was so grateful to find these ideas! Take care!
@@rachelill8280 You're welcome! Funny - I would not call Sable gentle by any stretch of the imagination haha especially when it comes to food or toys. She isn't aggressive, but she certainly chomps her way through things! Best of luck with your Toller or Brittany - both are great choices!
Hello, we are getting our first toller puppy in late June and are prepping 😊 I wanted to ask you about the cables in general - I saw some chargers in several of your videos. She could easily chew on them, but she doesn't seem interested in doing so. Was it easy to teach her to leave the cables alone? Or should we somehow doggy-proof them? And thank you for the videos, they are very helpful ❤
Hi there - so excited for you getting your first puppy! We got lucky with Sable - she never chewed on much of anything, only a shoe or two. We didn't really have to teach her to leave things alone. Each dog is different though! You'll know pretty quickly into having your puppy if they're going to be a chewer or not I think. If they are, I'd definitely remove the cables. It's so important to redirect chewing to things that you deem "okay" for them to chew on. Always make their toys way more interesting than furniture, cables, etc. I think we didn't have an issue with her being destructive because we really rewarded her when she chewed on good things and only redirected when she was chewing on something bad. Don't make it a game to them when they're chewing on something bad - i'd recommend staying calm, and offering to play with a chew-friendly toy. Good luck!
Are you well? You sounded out of breath, and I get that way because of my heart and lungs. I hope you are and that it was just exertion. Beautiful and well-trained dog!
Love my 2 yr old newly adopted toller “Penny” and I’m looking into pet insurance. Do you have any suggestions or input on best insurance (or important things to cover) for this breed?
I dont understand, all dish towels AND bath towels AND clothes left on the floor arent a game? In all seriousness this is a great video. You made other dogs happy
Merry Christmas and happy New Year to you, too! We're so glad that you have enjoyed watching her grow up. It's been too fast in our opinion! We might get another dog/toller someday when we get a bigger backyard. Sable LOVES playing with other dogs, so she'd definitely be all about it. We just want to make sure that we have her training fine-tuned, have enough time and energy to devote to another pup, and give ourselves a break from the puppy/teenage stage before we consider it! Fingers crossed!
I missed the release of this one. So great to see how far Sable & her parents have travelled so to to speak. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks for the support, as always Harold!
Excellent tips!!!! A happy Toller is a tired Toller. Our Toller Loki benefited by your exercise games. Thank You!

She is amazingly smart....love how she went from one of those bottles to the next! Such a beauty!
Thanks, Randy! She does pick up on things pretty quickly!

These are great ideas! I wondered, with the napkin knot game, if Sable ever rips the napkins to get to the treats?

Thanks for sharing. Where did you get Sable?
Hi…;-). Did you build the bottle stand yourself or have you bought it?
We built it! It was pretty easy to do!

I am totally healthy - thanks for your concern! I hope that you are feeling well, too. Thank you for your support!
so cute
Thanks!
Does anyone know much how they usually cost?
About $35 - right now this one is on sale for a little less! amzn.to/45bJWRM
My mom does this with my allowance (and quarters)
What a cute dogo
Thanks, Sasha! Your profile pic is pretty cute too!

I use Lemonade and have had a wonderful experience!

It’s been really cool to watch her grow up! Are you ever gonna get another toller or any other dog at all?
Also merry Christmas and new year!
