The musical instrument could be a tank can guitar or a jar can guitar, ..These are handmade or custom-built guitars I believe they have three or four strings and are popular in blues and folk music. They are played with fingers, picks, or slides for a distinctive sound Asaf always deliver the whole packet in his incredible way : he never disappoints !!! Thank you for sharing a great performance!
Well, lucky I’m here 😃.. to break down the theme and lyrics of this song, a true piece of POETIC GENIUS❤️🔥 This song reflects the complexity of love-both its beauty and its ability to wound-through vivid, poetic imagery. It’s a raw and emotional exploration of how love can be both a weapon and a sanctuary. "I love you like the roots in the sand" Like roots planted in sand, it appears deep but lacks solid ground, hinting at instability. "I love you like God likes his plan" An inevitable and larger-than-life love. "I love you like death loves a man" A tragic and unavoidable love. "I love you like a gun in my hand" A powerful and dangerous love. Holding a gun symbolizes power with the potential for destruction. "Bang Bang Bang I'm back again" Returning to pain or a cycle of love and hate. He is drawn back into this relationship repeatedly, despite its consequences. "I love you like scalpel loves flesh" Like a scalpel separating tissue, it brings pain but may also heal. "I love you like blood that is fresh" Like fresh blood, it signifies life and passion but also injury. "I love you like a Jew on the run" A love that feels chased, consuming, and tied to struggle. "I love you like a chisel and stone" Like a chisel shaping stone, this love creates something new through conflict. "I love you like a needle and bone" Like a needle piercing bone, this connection is strong but painful. "I love you like God loves his son" A deep and sacrificial love. Thanks, Zack, for sharing this one :)
Hi Zack, When I first found Asaf's music I watched The Acropolis Performance beginning to end several times.(I had a couple of hours of free time🤔) One thing I cannot figure out lI've been looking for a while) is the type of that guitar he uses. He uses it in the video as well. But, I think we are all use to him using instruments in an unconvential way by now 😉*Like the drumsticks on the guitar strings* or *Screaming into his guitar* 😮 He also uses it in the video but he is definately having fun and making up the tunes on the spot (which he does masterfully) ❤ Thanks for the Asaf "Acropolis" reaction. See you on the next. 😉 P.S. Asaf uses So many metaphors, after all he is a poet but If we tried to figure out what the deeper meaning behind any poets lyrics, we'd all a little crazy.🤪
@uptnogd Regarding the meaning of his songs, I once asked him about the meaning of one of his songs - My Favorite Clown. I didn't get his intent at first, so I offered my own interpretation, to which he replied that songs can mean different things to different people, and my interpretation is not less valid than his. He's awesome.
Just total artistry is all.....and it's stunning!
He’s so interesting.I can’t stop listening to him !❤
I love it like a scalpel in my hand!💜💜💜

He plays a cigar box guitar
@uri.kalish Finally! I have a name to that instrument 😊Thank you
@@uptnogd I can relate. It took me 2 years to find out that the enchanting sound I heard in Battlestar Galactica was a Duduk.
@@uri.kalish ha ha 🤣 I remember Battlestar Galactica. Just Barely though 😬 Cuz I was an infant when I use to watch it? LOL
