Great to see them win, and I know the Glasgow defence was excellent but the boys in white really looked like they'd struggle to finish their dinner, let alone a try scoring opportunity...much work needed :)
Fair comment for this game.. but there is two new players, and missing the starting centres and right winger. It's gonna take a few weeks to get all back on board and firing.
I didnt manage to watch it live. From this it looked like Ulster have really found some grit and backbone even if they don't have the fancypants big money boys. I like the look of morgan too, attacking the line and looking sharp around the park.
Not worried. Ulster are a good side, especially at home, and it sounds like Franco is mindful of late season burnout with this being many players first game of the season. When you only have to finish top 8 to make the playoffs and only 12 teams have a hope of achieving that, there’s no rush!
@@terry-irwin Saw a couple of potential pen tries there too. We'll see how they get on as season progresses. Refs must look at what they're doing closely. Most of it is illegal.
Not a surprising result when you play for 10 minutes with 13 men...at this level that is point a minute stuff....& a disallowed try....how far back does a TMO need to go?the players breakfast??
@@Mojo-IREhe puts his hands on the ball then his knee goes down then he lunges. Maybe the Glasgow player went too early and that’s a penalty advantage so Ulster should have had another crack at it from a penalty. It’s an easy miss in real time but not calling it after the TMO pulled him back is an obvious case of home team advantage
6:43 the URC highlights didn't include this run for some reason. Nice to see Aiden's run finally be appreciated in a highlights video
Hugely impressive win for Ulster and a very competitive performance from Connacht the other night. Irish rugby continues to be in good health.

What a drama with those goalline stands. What defending, and perseverance. Kudos to both teams for wonderful entertainment
Odd to see Werner not wearing sharks kit. Really wish him luck.

Maaaaassive intro. Goodness!
Kok plays for Ulster now. I was wondering why I wasn't seeing him at the sharks lately
Big win against a very strong Glasgow team.
Good luck to Ulster and Werner Kok 🍀

Geez,Kok needs a haircut !! Looks silly with that hairdo !!

He looks like My Little Pony!
Great day out!
Does ulster not trust the backline ... wow so many pick and go.s they could have scored lots of tries had they just gone wide ...
Glasgow's remarkable defending relies almost entirely on conceding a blizzard of penalties and chaos.
Agree. Don't understand why they didn't have a yellow in the first half as well.

@bogbay any examples of where a penalty try should have been awarded?
@@Zomo1553 Yes, a couple. Watch vid. Multiple infringements near or on the line
Time 85min 43sec that bit long game ..not good. Should Glasgow win !! ?

And the winning team was yellow card.
so called champions losing lol
Dubois final try for Ulster - 9 clearly on his knees when playing the ball.
Well it's in one movement for a start and secondly, doesn't the Glasgow player try to tackle him while he's playing 9 anyway
Glasgow player is standing offside trying to bring him into the breakdown…
Can’t have it both ways
dubious spelling only.
Incorrect. He's on his feet when he first picks up the ball. Therefore he's allowed to fall to his knees and place it. Try was fine.
