Streets of Rage 4 is a brand new entry in the classic Sega Genesis series, developed by Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guard Crush Games. They had big shoes to fill, and I think the game they made is more than worthy of its name.

There isn't much I can complain about, pretty much everything about Streets of Rage 4 is great. I suppose my biggest gripe is that it's just too long, coming in at 90-100 minutes. But the thing is, there's plenty of variety between the stages, enemies, layouts, hazards, and so on, so it never feels like it's dragging on or badly paced. All of the content is good - there's just too much of it for my taste. But it's really not a big deal, I'll still play the game a ton because it looks, plays, and sounds great. If you're a fan of the series or just the genre, then I absolutely recommend picking it up ASAP. It's a steal at the $25 launch price.
