    Interesting project! I would love to see how you extended the table saw to continue use of the saw fence with the router - When you have the time, you could do a video of how it looks like from the sides we never see.

    Very nicely done when I use a fluted bit I always take a bit out with the saw bench or put a straight bit in so not to get the flute blocked and cuts cleanly take care 😀

    I am goning to do the same on my Bosch job site saw, however, how do you adjust bit height and change bits. With six screws holding the plate down, it is not very convenient.

      I was thinking the same thing - taking the screws out all the time would get old really fast.

      @206Seaman 4 года назад +1

      Would be a nuisance wouldn’t it? How about two threaded inserts in each support and countersunk holes in the top? Use short machine screws so just a few turns would lock it down. Leveling screws wouldn’t hurt either. That said, he thinks things through pretty good, then, like most of us, has to change a few things halfway through.

      It isn't convenient but it is not so difficult.
      To adjust the bits there are two ways. Rough and fine. With the router mounted we can push up the router to approximate hight and turn the knob on it to exact height.
      To change bits, we can do that beneath the plate with the router mounted.
      Yes, I think those are unconvenient too. If you want a perfect one, you can buy a table router made by manufacturers.
      Thanks for watching sir.

    Nicely done J! However, as others have noted, how do you change bits? Removing 6 screws every time you want to change a bit would get rather tedious. Also, you better watch your fingers more closely. Making a cut in the middle of a board like you did & using your fingers to push the wood over the bit is NOT a real good idea. Just be safe........... 😉😉👍👍

      The way this is set up, it looks like you can still reach under the table and get the wrench on the chuck to change out bits, without having to undo those 6 screws.

      죄송합니다. 안타깝게도 집진문제는 해결하지 못했습니다. 하지만 루터작업은 테이블쏘작업량보다 비교적 적어 큰 불편함이 없습니다. 작업 중간중간에 집진시스템의 호스로 해결합니다.
