I have done some woodworks in the past but this woodwork plan ruclips.net/user/postUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG helps me do much in a far lesser time than i used to do i have already built several projects with this plan and i intend to do many more soon. Thank you so much!
It's almost a shame to ruin those perfect sharp corners! What a pleasant thing it is to wake up to yet another video on AMAZING Japanese joinery! I could watch you guys day and night.
What a delight to watch a true artist in action. I loved every second of this video. Made such an easy work of the tricky joints like the dovetail and the castle jopint. Bravo and thanks J.
I love your work, your creativity and attention to detail. I stand with you, somewhere between hobbiest and expert and enjoy the craft. Many thanks for sharing and inspiring.
Excellent travail. Having the precision and the know-how is useful, but also having the electrical equipment... is not within everyone's reach. I learned to use a saw and wood chisels, certainly this way of doing things is longer and more laborious. This in no way takes away from the work I saw on this video, I like the assembly and the way of doing it... Excellent work.
In total agreement. I love watching the old hand work, espexially the Japanese guys but at the same time, I appreciate the modern advancements. As evidenced by my shop. 😂 I definitely have a lot of power stuff that I could get along without! A tool whore if you will.
Your work is from another star. I love to watch you doing the different connections. It looks so easy with you. My head is smoking, I would have to do it. Just fantastic.
Your skill is great. One suggestion I would make is to attach the top in a way that would allow the wood to expand and contract. I’m sure you understand what I’m suggesting.
Using the table saw with the jigs for joinery proves you do not need lots of specialized tools. Just knowing the table saw and geometry you are able to wonderful joinery! Nice work J !
Your video makes these joints look very easy. You indeed are a fantastic woodworker and it’s a real pleasure to watch you work. I find these projects inspiring and I thank you sir!
Yes, my real woodworking is much harder than in the videos. I omitted many procedures for simple and rapid videos. Too long and complex videos would make you skip or bored. Just joke. Thanks for watching sir.
спасибо! я как раз хотел смастерить себе верстак в гараж и искал образец, подходящий для новичка в столярном деле. очень здОрово! thanks! I'm a beginner and I just wanted to make a table for my garage. looked for a good example. your work is great! 👏👏👏
Spotless clean workshop is a clue ! I love the precision marking out and then how your skilled hands let's the machines do the work.Clean tight cuts everything just slots in perfect. Great to watch and learn. Thank you very much. You are very Precise and create beautiful pieces.
Какой молодец!!!! Благодарю, за показ одной только операции ,которую я не знал ,но которую использовали мастера ,оформлявшие комнату Петра 1-го ... под Питером ...
thanks for sharing that! Very cool use of a table saw to make dovetails. They look like expertly hand cut--but you totally cheated :-) I'm stealing that idea for sure.
I like the use of splines in the table top and I especially like the 3 way joints at the top of the legs. I am going to try this with my next table project. Thank you for sharing this. Excellent craftsmanship.
I love your precision, care and attention to detail...I know only one Japanese phrase and it is "Shokunin"...because in the West we have a concept of Pride in your work, but it doesn't seem to resonate or have such a deep meaning. I think "Shokunin" when I watch you work.
When I saw the slots being made, I didn't figure it would be for the wood keystone! Cool! It's to keep the wood pieces, from the "castle" style cut, in place making them more firmer and from jiggling!
You know, those top leg corners were utterly beautiful. Thank you.

Love the way you use the wood itself to make measurements on other pieces of wood.

Great job, as usual!!! But I was a little disappointed that you installed the tabletop with screws, I expected a solution without the use of metal.
Sorry about that.
Thanks for watching sir.
Роман Першин I thought the same thing
wood breathes, and screws are probably a better solution to the expansion/contraction issues. i guess you could use dowels or something.
Nice work very informative I love this work

@@j-woodworking9573 sorry, I thought J stands for Japan. Superb Korean craftsmanship !
That was my fault when I first made the name and opened my chanel. Now it becomes difficult to change name into k-woodworking.
Beautiful work. If that's construction lumber, is there a risk of warping?
Love this style of wood working going to keep watching to see what I can learn
Thanks for watching sir.
