Denis is not going to be ready in 2 months. He has to have hip replacement surgery, which means he will not be training. Give Denis maybe 2 years and maybe he will be ready to pull.

Hip replacement surgery has a very fast and easy recovery time, just a few weeks before you can start doing easy things. Still, 2 months does seem like not enough time to prepare for a match.
Define fast recovery time? Based on how Denis has been in a perpetual state of recovery since 2018, what would normally be a "fast" recovery for a regular person is probably going to be a prolonged recovery for him. Years of abusing steroids have wrecked his body - he looks at least 15 to 20 years older than his actual age.
He might be done and the come back was a failure and that’s ok too

Kurdecha in 2-3 months. Kurdecha match should not be replacement, Kurdecha deserves to have enough time to prepare and peak for the match.

As far as I know Denis needs hip replacement surgery therefore he will need a lot more time to recover. 1-2 month is probably not even close to enough

He sounds like he is taking the easy path; he is probably, at least to some extent, afraid of both Devon and Alex. He drives the Levan hype boat to unknown destination in the futur... Denis seems to be in a constant rehab program challenging health issues over and over. I know everyone wants to see him pull again but I believe he won't be ready for half a year from now if not more
He has been washed. He been washed ever since his blood vessels bursted and he got hospitalized.

Atleast 3 months no movement and complete rest after such a big surgery. Definitely not 2 months. I really want to see denis compete but alas, seeing this legend in this condition is sad day in armwrestling.

Ermes would absolutely slay Denis. I think it was almost a mismatch at this point. Ermes is in incredible shape right now. Too bad he lost a payday in current KOTT not of his fault. They should find replacement for Denis so all hard work and sacrifice is not wasted.

@@te-tg4ip they aren't, agains devon he accept without a preparation campaign and from then he's improved a lot in every aspect, about kurdecha they have done some serious sparring last month (in preparation to muratov for ermes, and georgi for alex), and they both probably know 99% who would win this match.. so probably it make no much sense for one of them. Devon is also completely out of shap right now.. and imo both in this moment would be easy Win for ermes.

But in a real match when kurdecha and devon are ready they are both very risky for ermes. Ermes will always have the disadvantage of pulling in a tall man style against taller people. He fights for height against guys who simply have more height than him. But because he is so great, he sometimes overcomes it

I know Ermes wants to pull Denis because Denis is a legend, much like Brzenk, but it is clear that Denis is but a shadow of his former self. This match would be an easy victory for Ermes. Why not challenge one of the three people to beat Ermes on the right arm over the last 2-3 years? A revenge match against Kurdecha would be fantastic. If Ermes is able to avenge his loss from Top 8, that would put him right on track to face Levan again for the undisputed superheavyweight champion on the right arm. It would also prove to everyone that all of the pronation and wrist training has paid off if Ermes is able to maintain his wrist against Kurdecha, who was easily able to take his wrist the last time they faced in Top 8.

He really shouldn't hold his breath for a guy undergoing surgery. It'll be at least 2 months of rehab for Denis to even be able to begin to train I bet.

Ermes perfavore ascoltami,stai solo perdendo il tuo tempo ad allenarti in modo specifico per denis perchè secondo me non si farà neanche vivo tra 2 mesi.Son d accordo con la tua decisione di non trovare un sostituto per quest ultimo per kott11 perchè siccome hai fatto una preparazione specifica per lo stile di denis che nessuno nella top ora come ora lo ha potresti essere svantaggiato se ti trovi un alex(che per lui bisogna allenarsi specificatamente per la partenza di tiro iniziale)ma non sono d accordo sul fatto che ti devi ancora allenare per lo stile di denis.È meglio se ora come ora ti alleni specificatamente per lo stile di Levan o Kurdecha che relativamente loro due sono simili.Spero solo che non perderai questi 2 mesi di preparazione e non vorrei mai che perdessi di nuovo.

The real reason Denis postponed the match was because after he spent some time with Vitaly Laletin, Dmitry Silaev and Zaul Paizulaev, he realized his level was not high enough compared with these three guys, so he surely needed much more time to prepare. The health issues are just excuses.
Remember Ermes beat Vitaly, and Denis realizes he is not on the same level with Vitaly, so he needs more time.

Ermes, è bello da parte tua che tu voglia attendere che Denis sia completamente ristabilito, dimostra quanto tu lo rispetti, però come molti stanno dicendo è improbabile che lui sia di nuovo in forma tra uno o due mesi, forse dovresti davvero considerare la possibilità di cercare un altro avversario per il prossimo futuro, e nel momento in cui Denis si sarà ripreso potrete rifissare un incontro.

I think you need another opponent but not right now. Maybe alex or devon, but with proper training (3-4 month specific training). I think you have learned the lesson against devon to never compete if you're not perfectly prepared.

Non lo so Ermes, penso che non siano questi 2 mesetti che facciano la differenza, anche perché la situazione di Denis non sembra migliorata e si deve operare all'anca. Ogni volta che lo vedo allenarsi sembra in costante riabilitazione. Sarebbe molto bello vederlo in gioco e farci un match si vede che ci tieni sarebbe un onore, però penso ti dovrai dimenticare di lui per un po'.
Poi eh magari accetta il match, l'importante come dici tu è che si senta forte e pronto lui perché per te questo non è un problema sicuro 😂
