I love how you were just zipping around the cars and the people on your little Motocompo. I gotta admit that I don't get spending the money to buy a Motocompo, but like kei trucks, they're just so cute and so useful.
the Motocompo has really been one of my greatest purchases ever, although very expensive its also very cool especially for events like this

It would be great if you could do the auction to registration process of importing from Japan. There are some really cool cars coming up on the 25 years limit.
I love my 1996 4WD Hijet mini truck, but I'm not a fan of the distributor and carburetor. Electronic ignition and fuel injection started to be common on the kei cars around 25 years ago.
I haven't imported a car yet from Japan everything ive been getting as already been stateside but maybe in 2024 or sooner I'll import my first kei. NYC makes it very hard tho
@@Liberty4Ever I'm swapping a Honda engine into little Nissan. It fits and it will be a Texas highway speed capable car and probably get 60mpg.
@@Waybeforethefame Yeah, Texas makes it super easy :) The big mystery to me is the "local broker" part of the deal where you have to pay someone at the stateside port to get the car from them. My guess is it would be much cheaper if it came in as "parts" rather than as a complete car, but I don't know.
