  • Heath was a Club record signing when he joined Everton from Stoke City in January 1982 for £700,000
He quickly became a Toffees favourite. In his first full season at Goodison Park he finished as the Club’s top scorer with 18 goals in all competitions and he continued to provide a source of consistency, netting double figures in every campaign up until 1987/88 despite a couple of serious injuries during period preventing him from playing as many games as he would have liked.

I absolutely adore this man , his part in Evertons all time greatest team will stay with me until the day I die . Highbury, Oxford utd , Man Utd, the list goes on . I admire today's players but those 80s legends I simply adore them . Every single one of them , but inchy stands up as my favourite.

Adrian Heath deserved a fair few caps for England but it never happened, same as Paul Bracewell, they were international class.

Indeed it was but what was up with that "penguin" kit? I was trying to figure out who they were playing, it looked like something Sunderland or SoTon might have trotted out after losing a bet. When the guy said "Highbury" my jaw went slack. It's as if somebody forgot which parts of the Gunners kit are red and which are white and then somebody else approved it. o.0

Great understanding with Sharpy, remember the day Inchy signed , it seemed like a fortune back then , but every penny well spent . Scored some incredibly important goals . I think it was the yard dog Billy Whitehurst crippled him .

All gifted players with class and a great fighting spirit....I,d make the current crop of players be forced to watch footage of the mid 80,s team as an example as to how the game should be played, firstly with a fighting spirit that the current side sadly lacks.

In the box, he seemed to be 30 seconds a head of anyone else. in thought and action. Valuable goals. Never forgotten.

Even today Adrian Heath probably still looks twenty years younger than his real age.

Graeme Sharp's goals are more impressive than Heath's goals. Watching Sharp's potential shots which were denied by Bruce Grobbelaar are also fun : both the shots and the remarkable saves.
I didn't watch Everton's games when Lineker was at the club. So I want to know when Sharp, Heath and Lineker all played, who was the CF or what was the formation of the forward line ?

Biased but his contribution in Everton becoming the force they were in the 80s was just as important as Neville, Reid and Gray.

Look I'm a great Evertonian but this fella wasn't that good. Had a couple of good seasons. Gray was a better foil for Sharp
