I really can’t return the massager because I ordered from Canada and I don’t want to go through the return hassle.

Hi guys, I feel nothing when pressing directly on the tib post, or when doing calf raises. I can feel like a pinch when running (which increases in pain the longer I run), or when doing squats, and the area under /back off the naviculare bone can feel a bit stiff a day or two after running / squatting. Can anyone tell me based on my description please? P.S I had some very minor swelling in my left foot over the tender area a day or two before before the tenderness existed. P.S my foot didn’t hurt when I did this test but I could not hold the position for very long without losing balance. However, if I bend my ankles inward then that inner area of the foot is very stiff. It’s not as stiff since the swelling went down though but it’s still stiff and a little tender to bend my ankles inwardly. I’m about to do another epson salt + warm water small tub bath for my feet like I did when they were swollen up (granted the swelling was VERY minor in them but I tend to freak out over everything related to my health to the 10th degree. I try not to but I just can’t help it.)
hi this is a great video!! i would like to ask regarding my case, there is a bone below my inner ankle which always hurts when i do running or hiking. it was located above arch? what do you call that and how to address that pain?
thank you so much for your reply. this is very helpful, but in that case if ever it is my navicular bone is there any treatment that could lessen the pain specially when doing extreme sports?
Is there something else that causes similar pain? I have pain in the same spot you are pointing to but i can be in a toe raise with no pain and only feel pain if i really get up on my toes and even then its not bad. What really hurts is when i do an achilles stretch where you bend your knee down, the entire section on that inside of the foot is in pain and i cant get too far down. I can walk and jog in a straight line with no pain, but once i run hard and put a lot of pressure on it it hurts, so tryig to jump high and sprints are painful. and also making turns towards the hurt foot is very painful in that area too. The exercises for this problem havent been helping me much so im not sure if it is something else. I sprained my ankle 1 1/2 months ago and played through it up until 2-3 weeks ago that i have been resting it
And actually i can jump with no pain from a standing position. Its really only the whole bending at the knee where the inside of my ankle starts to hurt really bad
I have similar problem, but I can run, sprint and actualy do horizontal jumps without pain, but during High jump take of it gets so bad it feels like my ankle could break, and often in the morning my ankle and achiles tendo is very stiff.
I have tibial tendonitis but my pain is not on the inside of the ankle it's on the outside of the ankle but same spot where pain is. I have tried everything to get better & give up... my foot is deformed now what do I do???? I am in soooooo much pain. I'm too young not to be able to walk
Awesome video! Is it possible for this pain to radiate up the leg (mid shin area)? I have had a constant pain (2-3 level) in my foot and leg for almost two years, but recently it has been spiking to a 6-7! Any advice on what to do for this? I have very high arches and am not sure if that is contributing to this pain.
The meat of the muscles as they say can also ache, as can the outer aspect of the ankle and across the area where you’d tie a bow of your laces. I’ve been told that’s other muscles being strained as they try to compensate for your arch dropping. I’ve ground great relief with kinesiology tape. It’s stretchy. Use a 35cm piece and apply first 3cm without stretching just below your little toe, on upper surface of foot, with the long piece of tape hanging off the outer edge of foot below little toe, then stretch the rest round under the foot obliquely and emerge from under the arch on inner side, then stretch it up and along the path they showed, red, up the line of the muscle towards knee. I also like to split/ cut the length of tape in half from above the ankle and upwards, and take that other half part up and across the shin at a diagonal. Apply last 3cm ends without stretch to anchor it. So all ends are not stretched but in between is stretched. This is then like a J shaped hook under your foot. It supports the arch and gives the tendon a rest. Bliss! Less pain. Keep it on. I have a subscription for the stuff on Amazon! Wide Zinc tape can also be used, which isn’t stretchy, but still try and pull taught, but that brought me out in a rash!
My left foot is swollen exactly at the insertion. Had this for 2 years+ Pain is severe now. Actually switches between mild discomfort to severe pain since 2016. When I stand straight the left foot faces outward unless I take a conscious effort to straighten it. Do you think I am suffering from tendonitis? Thanks
Trade2 Win I have the same issue on my right foot. Has been swollen for a few years but a few months ago I started having pain. Like you it changes from discomfort to extreme pain. My podiatrist said it’s most likely posterior tibial tendinitis. So I just started physical therapy.
Hi, so ive already asked you two a few questions, i had injured my ankle and developed this posterior tibial tendonitis. Just these past few days i started running again. I am able to sprint with no pain and i now passed the hop and jump test. The only thing i have left is a pain on the inside of my ankle, so basically in the ankle bone and the posterior tibial tendon when i am at the deepest point of dorsiflexion. Is this just a mobility issue? Or what do you think it could be? Thank you in advance.
physicaltherapyvideo do you think its safe to go back into playing soccer? And thank you very much. You guys deserve a million subscribers the way you reply to everyone!
Did you ever get your ankle issue resolved? I have exactly what you describe. No pain while running, only deep dorsiflexion right behind malleolus on the inside.
@@rileyhernandez1872 So this was a long ass time ago but from what I remember, what really helped out (and basically anytime I had an injury on the inner side of my ankle) was doing eccentric calf raises. So basically just stand on the edge of a stair or some sort of platform. Go into a calf raise with both feet, take away the good ankle and very slowly come down with the bad ankle until it goes lower than the platform. And repeat. I think at the time I just had built up scar tissue from the actual injury so working it out past the range of motion helped break it up.
hi, is the pain only on the left foot, or both?, because when i wake up i feel the pain on my left only and it's stays for a bout 5 minuets than it's leave. i did the test and i felt a little pain on the left foot but the right foot nothing and thank you guys, i'm working on fixing my body and you guys are big help respect
Couldn't hold it for a half of second it was so painful. it's totally inflamed right now. I guess I have this condition in both feet? Anyone? 2.5/3 points from termination at work I HAVE to figure this out tonight
Thanks for making this! I was able to go on my toe without any pain really (tiny bit but no problem standing that way) - but it hurts to walk normally, like if I put any weight on the inner bottom of my foot (the side of the pain, like any weight on my big toe or that side) this area under the ankle that you point to in the video hurts, I have to walk with all the weight on the outer side of my foot. could it be just minor posterior tibial tendonitis or injury? I'm resting it with ice and ibuprofen, just don't want to make it worse
Just finished treating a client via Reflexology and I was seeing possible signs of tibialis anterior inflammation and trigger points. Actually applied of little of your technique but the client was sitting door so I did it manually.
Not always true about people who have this not being able to do a calf raise. I see this statement from a LOT of different, legit sites too. I have this. I knew I did and an MRI just a few days ago has confirmed it. I can absolutely do calf raises. In fact I typically do 50, one legged calf raises on stairs, 3x/week. I can still do those with minimal pain.

I try not to but I just can’t help it.)
oh its okay....can I copy and paste it here?
+physicaltherapyvideo did you read my message..will I get okay?
+physicaltherapyvideo I had sent that to you
hi this is a great video!! i would like to ask regarding my case, there is a bone below my inner ankle which always hurts when i do running or hiking. it was located above arch? what do you call that and how to address that pain?
thank you so much for your reply. this is very helpful, but in that case if ever it is my navicular bone is there any treatment that could lessen the pain specially when doing extreme sports?
I can do it...but with a bit of pain and discomfort... can I still run? please? lol
Did you still have the same problem ?
Not zoomed in properly
Hey my pain is on the inner part of the ankle but in the front - inner part the line you drew goes behind it is it still posterior tibial tendonitis ?
The line you drew goes from behind the ankle my pain is in the inner front part of it
Can this present as calf pain? The area you point out is tender to the touch, and I feel pain in the calf when standing on one foot.
Your comment is old but i got misdiagnosed as calf problems when it was this. hope it helped
yes, yes, yes, thank you!!!!!!
I have tibial tendonitis but my pain is not on the inside of the ankle it's on the outside of the ankle but same spot where pain is. I have tried everything to get better & give up... my foot is deformed now what do I do???? I am in soooooo much pain. I'm too young not to be able to walk
hey, did your foot ever recover?
Awesome video! Is it possible for this pain to radiate up the leg (mid shin area)? I have had a constant pain (2-3 level) in my foot and leg for almost two years, but recently it has been spiking to a 6-7! Any advice on what to do for this? I have very high arches and am not sure if that is contributing to this pain.
I have the same pain and was wondering the same thing
Had this for 2 years+
Pain is severe now.
@@reesescup003 Wish you quick healing.
Trade2 Win thanks. I hope you get the answers you need to heal as well
@@reesescup003 Thank you
What if I have this injury only though on the other side of the foot... Same left foot but posterior to outside ... Is it the the same?
ahmad negahban No, that’s not the same
I think I have that I have scar tissue from tarsal tunnel surgery and that maybe why I have trouble walking
I haven't had surgery but when I cross my legs the pain comes back. why is that
Thank you
Hi, so ive already asked you two a few questions, i had injured my ankle and developed this posterior tibial tendonitis.
@@ajjimenez4701 damn thanks for the reply haha. yeah i've just been doing lots of band exercises moving the ankle inward and that's been helping a lot
Just got this injury, any advice would be appreciated!?
hi, is the pain only on the left foot, or both?, because when i wake up i feel the pain on my left only
and it's stays for a bout 5 minuets than it's leave.
i did the test and i felt a little pain on the left foot but the right foot nothing
and thank you guys, i'm working on fixing my body and you guys are big help
respect
Couldn't hold it for a half of second it was so painful. it's totally inflamed right now. I guess I have this condition in both feet? Anyone? 2.5/3 points from termination at work I HAVE to figure this out tonight
Hi
Bob missed his true calling: those are dancer's feet (Barishnikov would kill for those arches!)
How about facilatory and inhibitory technique for abnormality of tone
Thanks for making this! I was able to go on my toe without any pain really (tiny bit but no problem standing that way) - but it hurts to walk normally, like if I put any weight on the inner bottom of my foot (the side of the pain, like any weight on my big toe or that side) this area under the ankle that you point to in the video hurts, I have to walk with all the weight on the outer side of my foot. could it be just minor posterior tibial tendonitis or injury? I'm resting it with ice and ibuprofen, just don't want to make it worse
Same here mostly the past couple of days. Can stand on my toes but hurts to walk sometimes. Wondered if you ever got it figured out? Tips?
same problem :) anyone knows? =)
Much better after two or three weeks here after doing some stretches and exercises daily.
What are the balls of nerve that hurts under my arch?
Love the intro lol
I can’t even lift my foot
Your videos cause more questions than answers.
Yes, it is! Miserable pain! Ouwie!
Skeleton name is Bonaparte cheesy but funny, lol.
Pure Genius.....and î'm French
Just finished treating a client via Reflexology and I was seeing possible signs of tibialis anterior inflammation and trigger points. Actually applied of little of your technique but the client was sitting door so I did it manually.
Bonaparte hit my funny bone.
I had shoulder issue and I use you guys approach to treating a separate shoulder.
I'd like to suscribe, but I only know how to suBscribe
