    1) Pain is worse by wearing shoes especially if they are tight.
    2) Gradual onset of an aching pain and swelling at the top of the foot and or front of ankle.
    3) During dorsiflexion (foot moving upward), you struggle with moving your foot without your toes moving upward.

    I got this 2 days ago by running barefoot for relatively long distances. Already starts to feel better... Massageing the painful spot is painful, but afterwards seems to help as well.
