I love how this cutscene alone made Kazuha (in my opinion) one of the most interesting characters in the game, not in the sense of personality since every playable character has so much of that, but instead through his determination to exact revenge for his friend he has temporarily awakened his friends dead vision. And with this next update, you can tell that it isn't just a fluke based on one of the images of Kazuha shown in the latest update showcase, where his eyes are glowing purple with a determined look on his face. Edit: Probably also determination to protect the traveler i.e another friend from being slain in front of his eyes. Edit again: The purple eyes from his most recent screentime had nothing to do with the vision-
I’ve found a theory that for the moment Kazuha’s ambition aligned with his friend’s, and this is what awakened the vision, when it was fulfilled, the vision then went dark again
I’m a new player and I can’t wait for next Raider rerun to try and get her. I managed to get Kazuha on this rerun which was awesome. I didn’t get Itto on the rerun before but got Qiqi instead 😂
No the dead vision owners ambition was to dare the lightning aka raiden strong slash so it will only activate to do that. Same thing traveler did with all the vision on the statue he just took their ambition and made it into power

That scene will always get me. It’s my most favorite one I have seen ever, I made myself tear up making myself imagine his friend’s spirit was by his side that time, helping him protect the traveler there hence why the vision suddenly activated for only a bit. I love Kazuha so much I want to give him a hug

One of the reasons why i like Kazuha as a character. This scene was super epic moment for him. I remember hearing leaks that he might die (near that update) and i was so relieved that it didn't happen
I love the detail, that when you go to the sword stuck in the ground, where he lays down the electro vision, after the quest, you can find it there, when it wasn't there before.
So not only did he save the traveller, not only did he awaken a dead vision, BUT HE HAS THE POWER TO COUNTER A GOD. Sure, he almost got stabbed in the process, but thats still an amazing feat.
Still absolutely love Raiden in this scene. She promised not to harm the traveler till they left her Castle but the moment they stepped outside, she went for the kill. Amazing
Mind you, Raiden is holding the blade with one arm and, from her stance and expression, puts little to no power into it, while Kazuha's struggling t o hold it and then push back. Once she actually starts trying a little - my man went *flying*.
He didn't want to loose another friend. He's so courageous to be able to stand against the Shogun. It just really hurts that he lost so much and yet he still decides to remain a good, kind person and stay strong. He really needs a hug....I really want to give him one badly
