@@avocado3-in-182 😂 Maybe, I don't know. I would thought so. I think you have to account for another reason for people to hate photos back in the day and that is the flash from the flashlight. Painting never needs the part of flashlight and though painting can be realistic but still not on the same level as photo would freak people out.

I'm interested to see if Mihoyo will adapt the situation on the Dango Milk seller. Like, think about it: He was not selling much of anything, but then suddenly, a literal goddess comes for his drinks and rates it highly. The dude should become now the new sensation in town and his dango milk become popular. If by the 2.4 this dudes has a fixed shop instead of his small stand that would be great way of showing that Mihoyo is actually making even NPC's progress, which they have already done many times

@FalxBlade It is not confirmed but it’s most likely because of the archon trends.Venti was released in 1.0 and got a rerun in 1.4 where as zhongli got his first banner in 1.1 and got a rerun in 1.5 so since Baal got her banner in 2.1 I am expecting her to get a rerun in 2.5 and also since it’s highly anticipated that miko will get a banner in 2.5 too it makes a lot of sense

Well only Yae, Ei, and the traveler knows it's Ei. Baal is widely known to be the Raiden Shogun which Ei carries on for her country. No one else knows. The general populace doesn't know Baal died in battle.

This Quest was awesome seeing how kind and caring Ei truly is and how she really needs to take charge and rule Inazuma herself. Ei is my favorite character from Genshin impact to play.
Where the last 2 Archons give us a glimpse of their past, this quest is about Ei being in tune with the present… at least to me. Where as the world around us changes, some of our ideals and traditions remain the same.

That quest was GREAT!!!
Finally some mf who wouldn't say this quest sucks and that its a "dating sim". This quest was good because it was centered around fixing Ei's mental health and in the end showing how she could still handle affairs as Ei. I bet this quest will have another act and it should have like Zhongli.

Personally, the best thing about this whole quest is that we get to see more of Ei when most of the archon quest we were living in fear of her, and then after her will is shaken, she became more friendly toward us and more open to doing things with us. It's sweet.
Paimon trying so hard to get Ei acquainted with the outside world that has changed so much is extra sweet too, Paimon is doing her best haha.

I like how Ei finds the Light Novel titles as weird as the anime titles of today
You know, while I was playing the game I kind of thought the Shogan and Ei were like wizard of oz because of the whole puppet/hologram being controlled by the actual person behind the scenes. The real Ei is actually a nice person with while Baal is because like a kuudere who's trying to workout emotions or the lifeless doll type of feeling. Would I combine them into one living being? Idk it's kind of confusing, to be honest with you.
As a fan of Wicked & Wizard Of Oz, this is very well made comparison

The thing I love about Genshin is this exactly. The ability to play as the people's god, and then just casually roam around. Kill what would be simple enemies with Divine powers, and talking to characters as their god dude. Idk why, it's just so funny/fascinating to me

In conclusion to all this, I have found a pattern! Gods don't carry money around them! Because they thought they don't need to! Venti, Zhongli and now Baal confirmed it...
As a newbie to the Genshin fandom, this is what I learned: War crimes, genocide or even running a country to the ground is completely okay so long as you're hot and have a tragic backstory.
Minus the war crimes, genocide, and running the country to the ground. Cause like, she didn't do any of that. I'm not saying she's completely innocent, but so many people like to look past context to make her look horrible.
@@aliji3 Still, she decided to shut herself off because she was unable to cope with what happened and let a puppet run it to the ground, all the while being somewhat aware of the decrees being enforced, indirectly creating a domino effect that led to the suffering and deaths of many people. And instead of getting chewed out for her irresponsibility, we get a shopping date with her. perfect. I have no problem with her admitting to her faults, but I feel like the game is actively encouraging me to conveniently forget about all the things that happened because of her. And I've very little of the fandom seem to address this. If she were an unattractive, middle age man, I don't think people would be so easy to let her off.
@@aeso3555 I mean that can really go for Zhongli too but I don't see anyone getting mad at him. He sat on the sidelines while Osial attacked liyue, even if everything was okay in the end some people still got killed, of course no one important. But nah, he's a hot guy so there are no problems with that. While Ei is irresponsible for not stepping out to actually see how things happened, people like to forget that others were allowing this to happen. Like the fatui, and the Kujou clan pushed the war to continue, especially since the kujou clan made false reports the raiden shogun, saying that no one died and there is no resistance. The fatui also do some heinous crap, but everyone likes to forget about how their actions also contributed to the deaths of not only the inazuman people but other nations people aswell. I've seen literally no one address this, and they all just forget the fatui are villains cause their hot. Also Inazuma was not run into the ground. The majority are unaffected by the vision hunt decree cause they don't have visions. It only affected the minority, not saying its okay because of that but that's how it is. Again, Ei is irresponsible however the way people like to put it is that her being unaware of the situation is her just giving it a free pass and letting it happen.

He claims that he could've easily contained the situation if it got worse but he neve, ever considered what would happen if his backup failed, if he ever lost by chance. Liyue would've been in the bottom of the ocean then. It's like throwing your kids into a den of tigers just to see if they're ready, claiming you can shoot the tigers if things got out of hand but never once considering what would happen if the gun jammed. It's really annoying that no one calls him out on this, and it's even worse because he's perfectly willing to accept criticism.
Regarding, your second point, I don't think anyone can forget what the fatui did, because they always take the time to gloat about it and half of the harbingers are unrepentent douchebags, even if La Signora has simps to back her up.
@@aeso3555 I agree with you about the fatui. I don't think people forget, rather they choose to ignore it. As an example, people who know about Signora's backstory try to paint her as a good person despite the things she's done. Admittedly we barely saw much of her but knowing the fatui she's probably done bad stuff off screen. While I like Ei, I still acknowledge that she irresponsible, but some people i've seen who like signora and scaramouche don't really acknowledge anything bad about them. Also, Childe who's responsible for Osial in the first place isn't really brought up either its kinda just ignored.

Ei's voice acting is excellent. She can sound authoritative and then feminine lady like.
Baal refers to the previous Electro Archon, who was in power 500 years prior to the current story. She perished during the destruction of Khaenri'ah. You might also know the event as the great cataclysm.
