Thanks, just what I needed to hear…… A review from professionals in the industry…… As a Civilian who is a little rough on luggage and overpacking….. I’ll be purchasing this item soon
It was kind of funny when you said it looks like a FA bag, cause I’m a FA I have been using this bag for a while and I must said it performs better than a Travelpro, this bag fix perfectly in all the overhead compartment, even if you carry full and heavy the handle and wheels perform pretty well, I’m pretty happy with this bag I do not have any negative so far with this bag I hope it last forever cause I’m not located in us and it was kind of hard to get it
Actuality I’ve tried a bunch of bags including the Briggs. I’ve gone back to the hated stealth. I just love the J hook, the handle, nice way it rolls. Though it is super heavy and if you’re not careful it bite and take a chunk out of people or things.
I've been using the luggage works executive series for 3 years. It's got the look of the stealth but with plastic frames. It's lighter and won't bend. I think it's the happy medium between stealth and aurora.
Luggageworks is absolute garbage. My 26” on the first trip into work, the side rails collapsed inward. Never again. Sick of rebuilding it, sick of replacing screws with pop rivets
You hammer the heavy LW bag that we have all grown to hate but yet you hammer the Aurora for not looking like that bag?? Come on, it’s a generic black roller that by the way looks much better than a Travelpro. It definitely DOES NOT look like a “flight attandant” bag as you claim. As you say, the strong point on this bag is the wheels. The weak point on this bag is definitely the stock. The stock cracked on me beyond repair at about 1.5 years. A crack formed on each of the outer (lower) tubes right at the join with the inner tube. The tubes are aluminum, not plastic, so I guess I would have expected better durability. Same thing happened on my old Costco bag, but it took 10 plus years. LW did send me a replacement stock, so there is that. Took about an hour to a) figure out how to install and b) install. No instructions provided, no nothing else, and no offer to send it back and have them fix it. So yeah, the part was free but I wouldn’t say they provided exceptional warranty service. Unzip the inner liner as I did when I replaced the stock and you’ll see it’s the usual made in Thailand junk on the inside, probably made in the same factory as all the other brands. Is it worth $189? Yes, especially if there is a basic level of customer service that will extend the life of the bag out beyond a couple of years. I’ll very seriously consider a Briggs when this bag takes another dump (probably the stock again) although I’d like to see more of a rollerblade style wheel on the Briggs. One more thing…..laterally it does NOT fit easily under the 737 jumpseat without starting to catch and so I’ve had to keep it stowed in an overhead.
You make some valid points. Another listener gave Dylan the idea of swapping out the wheels on the Briggs with some inexpensive after market ones that work perfectly and roll much nicer.
@@21fivepodcast97…..that would be an attractive mod. As always with those kind of mods, if that guy provided the exact model of wheel to order from Amazon, etc, that would be most helpful.
“We all got raises”
Meanwhile at Allegiant 👀😩

Glad you're enjoying the bag!

Right on, you do you. We are out on the stealth

Max can you compare the LW Executive 22” 737 model vs the SB Vortex?
is this better than the executive 22”?

Thanks for your insights!
