He has a space saver that compresses your clothes so that smaller bag will hold as much as a 25/26" bag. I ordered the 25", will use it for 2 week long trips.
Just found the podcast… so good!! Thanks for all the great content and laughs. BTW, is it just me or does Max sound like Andy Stumph? 😂 (especially his laugh)
I was enticed into trying a “spinner” bag by watching how easy they are for pax to roll around the terminals with bags on top keeping good posture and how you can turn them sideways to run up and down aircraft aisles. My two wheel would drag just fine through the aisle, but at the time I had a flight kit that was too wide and couldnt perch it on top and clear the seats. I loved the spinner about 20% of the time and that was on a smooth, clean terminal floor. Any carpet or carpet tile, forget it…especially thick pile sometimes found in hotel corridors. And it was a nightmare to drag outside over any uneven surface or debris. In those cases, it was even HARDER on your arm and shoulder than a two wheel. If you go with a spinner you want large dually wheels (like these). At times you are going to want to or need to drag it like a two wheel and without duallys it will feel very unstable. Bottom line on spinners is, as your buddy says, with the right combination of auxiliary bags a two wheel can be balanced perfectly and dragged with very little effort. And if you are already used to a two wheel with a few more liters of space you WILL notice the decrease in space on the spinner.
All good points. The large wheels on this bag mitigate many of the issues you bring up. Personally I think this is a great option if you're using just one additional bag like I do, backpack on the handle.
New here! Loving the content. Can you review the bigger bag they offer? My concern is fitting it in the overhead bins when I have to fly commercially somewhere to pick up a plane.
After a couple months of continuous use, Be wary, the wheels fall off regularly when you hit bumps. The 4 wheels have been nice as a corporate pilot, but it’s embarrassing when you are wheeling a bag in missing a wheel.

Yes, the space save is very effective! Looking forward to testing out the 25"
I’ll never forget the image of my bizav co-star’s 4-wheel bag blowing across the ramp in TEB on a windy day.
These reviews were worth the wait. Next, let’s get a solid review on kit bags so we can be super judgy on the Bightline folks.
🤝
What about the Briggs and Riley Baseline in the 4 wheel spinner version?

I have been carrying the 25 for a long time and it always fits, BUT 20% of the time it has to go sideways in the bin. But for me this is not an issue.
Afternoon gents. Can you provide an update to your experience since this post? I appreciate the videos!

i heard there was an issue with the wheels initially but they have been reengineered. definitely contact them as they will send you the new wheels.
Yep they upgraded the wheels and solved this a long time ago. They actually proactively sent out replacements too. Customer service is the best!
