Girl, I totally understand where you’re coming from with the whole relationship stuff and having discernment. I just broke up with someone I was in a committed relationship of 4 years with and I realized that I let so many things slide due to “not wanting to go through the talking stage” with anyone else or “staying bc the “D” was familiar”. I had to walk away bc I was doing myself a complete disservice. Us choosing us will always be top tier!

I see you getting consistent again Arnell! Noah is getting so big so fast. We are all human and it's normal to want companionship and sex. Baby daddies can move on within two seconds of the baby being born but moms are judged so harshly even if they wait years to date. As long as you don't bring them around your kids without properly vetting them for at least 6 months to a year. I don't see anything wrong. Oh and don't get pregnant again!

Nah mad s/o for being honest about the sex thing. Last year, I came to the realization that I neeeeeded to get to know people without the sex. I needed to be honest with myself and accept that sex DOES make me catch feelings and make me hold on longer than I should. I just had to stop fooling myself and its not easy but its really paying off cos I feel good about my decisions and I feel like I'm in control and not just being bamboozled into liking someone because we've exchanged energy. i Get to know and like them for who they are.

This vlog spoke to me in so many ways, I went through relationship after relationship that took a piece of my soul every time I was in it and I remember being in a position of praying to be in a position where I didn't NEED men, emotionally,physically,financially...whatever and that was five years ago and this year I'm five years celibate.
