A hauntingly beautiful film. Loved watching it and will watch it again.

There exists no other place as beautiful and bleak.

Very sad, and there are thousands of communities around the world that struggle - like Kirkja and Hattarvík - to keep their population. The remoteness of Fugloy creates additional challenges.
It would be very interesting to see a follow-up to this film.

Sounds kinda like Northern Norwegian. If I heard Faroese on the street I’d think they were Norwegians

3-4 live permanently but many (possibly 20?) have their address registred there.

@Farerets Hola, Farerets! ¿Qué conección tienes con las Islas Faroe? ¿Es que eres Urugayo pero aprendiste feroés, o tienes alguien en la famila quien es feroés?

It kinda sounds like Dutch spoken with a Scottish accent.

It sounds more like a northern Norwegian accent.
