Just to be clear, is the West Field Parking Garage the multi-level parking garage near the US Customs CBP Office? Nothing will show on my maps, lol. Great video by the way, that spot does look better than the Bayfront Park spot where all of the other videos are.

我的朋友福康! After all this time, you still are my #1 plane-spotting video maker. You certainly know how to control a camera well and capture the most important parts of airport operations. I was exceptionally surprised to see Alaska Airlines now flying the Airbus 320NEO at 5:43 and 15:42. I am guessing that it wants to expand its routes in the lower 48 states and Hawaii. I am glad you were able to capture the Chinese Airlines 747-400 freighter at the end of the video. I’m guessing that whenever you see a Chinese Airlines or Eva Air aircraft, it reminds you of home. Do you have a preference between the two? Thank-you for taking the time to do such a great job of videoing, editing, and posting your work. I hope all is well with you and your family. Hi my friend Guerry! It has been a while. Alaska now has a lot of Airbus in SFO. I will fly on an Alaska A321 in a couple weeks and hopefully can do a quick video of it. So far, I fly EVA more than China Airlines. However, on my recent trip I am really impressed by the interior of CI 777. The trip video is posted. The flight was way more comfortable than I anticipated. Anyway, both are great and as you mentioned, they remind me of home.

I used a camcorder for the video. I would say 100-400mm full-frame equivalent will do. I hope you have a wonderful spotting session!

How do you get permission to spot here? I checked SFO's website but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know where it is on the website?
I've never visited SFO, but hope to eventually over break with my family.I know you have to ask permission to spot there, is it easy to get there if given permission to spot? Are you able to see any parallel landings from that location?

Yes, there are airport transportations like shuttle bus and AirTrain which can take you to the garage. You could see parallel takeoffs and landings there.

No problems at all - B747 uses independent hydraulic systems for each of the gear retraction/door sequences.
@@haroldlipschitz9301, it is certainly nice to see someone so knowledgeable when it comes to commercial aircraft. I hope to see you more often, since asking someone in the know sure does beat having to do hours of research for esoteric information about commercial aircraft.

14:25 Turkish flag on turkish airlines 777 plane is wrong way with the moon and star being on the right instead of the left. Oops...
Flags are often reversed on starboard sides of planes for continuity of livery.
I know that if someone had made a mistake regarding the Turkish flag, it would have been corrected before the aircraft left the factory. The Turks are exceptionally fond of their country and very proud citizens. In fact, when I was in Turkey several years ago, a tourist had some paper currency fly away in the wind. To stop it from flying away he chased it and was stepping on it with his foot. A Turk ran up to him and told him to never step on Turkish money, because stepping on a picture of their national heroes was considered an insult to the nation.
