The more I watch your beautiful videos the more I know Ecuador is for me. I bet there are many more gorgeous towns just like the ones you profiled. You do a fantastic job and I really look forward to your new videos each week. Ecuador seems to have so much to offer.
My friend here that is a tourist guide was very happy to see not just this video but a couple others. He thougt initially you were from Ecuador. Great Job!
Thanks for sharing your Ecuador experiences. We are planning a scouting trip to Cuenca in January. Your posts have been very helpful and informative and are very much appreciated! 💞
Oh I’m thrilled you enjoyed it. Don’t miss the live videos where I answer questions as I give my best advice for people moving there, which includes not buying property for at least a year and don’t sign a lease. Most people don’t stay where they started and that’s normal. You want to give yourself flexibility to explore. And if you need help with anything I’ve included Andrés WhatsApp number ( essential app you need to download) as he’s a national guide and the source of all my Ecuador information.
Beautiful again!!!. The hornado looks fantastic , I want to go back again, i was in Gualaceo and Chordeleg last year. Never in SIG SIG, my wife's uncle and some friends are from there but unfortunately never been there. Now I have idea how looks for next time and buy some hats, last time I bought in Cuenca. Thank you again.👌
Loved this video! You gave us a great tour of the artisanal villages in Ecuador. It is hard to believe that we saw the artistry, the pastoral scenes, and the typical foods of each area. When will you be showing us the Galápagos Islands?
Great videos of such a beautiful country ,,Yes Ecuador has sooo much more to offer, Your videos are so informative and clear with good audio, people cant get enough of them keep at it !! When will you be in Manta again ?
Thanks so much, I agree 100%. I have shot over 100 videos and feel like I've only scratched the surface. I'll be back in Manta in the until autumn when I do a third coastal trip.
Oh what a day, beautiful places, beautiful people, smums food, Inka's and sadly, no waterfall....envy you and, can't wait to get to Ecuador - thanks for allowing us all along with you 😊
I love your educational videos from historical to present day. Maybe someday I'll be able to relocate there. Thank you for taking the time to share your lives with us. The food looks absolutely wonderful.
Thank you for subscribing! To be honest when Andres suggested he take me on this tour I thought it could be boring but he said it's one of his most popular tours. I was AMAZED at the work people were doing by hand.
Ayngelina, you have once again put together informative and beautiful footage. You may already have this planned, however do you have additional video you can piece together to provide separate episodes for Gualaceo, Chordeleg, and Sigsig? Also, do you know what the ingredients are in Guarapo? Did you by chance film this person preparing the drink from start to finish? Thanks for continuing to enhance our knowledge of Ecuador.
So I do plan to have a video just on Gualaceo because I think it should be a UNESCO heritage site for food. Also I've been there so many times to eat. For the other two spots I haven't as I think I may have maxed out on what things I find interesting about both villages.
@@ayngelina The guitar scene was excellent! While there may not be much more to film in this area, a separate video with "Hand made Guitars" in the title may help guitar aficionados stumble upon your channel. Just a thought.
@@pedroblanco8311 no and I just asked Andrés and he said it's something sold on the side of the road. I also featured it in my video of Yunguilla Valley, which is famous for sugar cane and they also have guarapo, the spirit.
Hahaha I know! Andres tried to shoo him away but I think so many people are curious that it doesn't bother me. Overall Ecuador is really welcoming to RUclipsrs (as long as you don't try to shoot in a supermarket) and they have some Ecuadorian RUclipsrs from Indigenous communities with millions of subscribers.
There are buses to the villages but you couldn't do it in a day. And it could be complicated with timing for places like Chobshi, the Panama Hat cooperatives and the Makana museum. If you're in Cuenca for a long time I'd do one village a day. Otherwise a tour is the best way to go, particularly if you don't speak Spanish.
The Panama hats do they offer UV OR SPF protection from the sun!? I traveled to Bolivia many years ago, and got a severe sunburn on my head. I would be interested in possible purchasing one of these hats if they offer sun protection!. 👍
Yes they do! You'd want a tight weave, which costs more but this is why they were first sent to Panama for workers building the canal - the sun was so harsh and they needed something to protect them.
@@bram992 oh wow. Did he share a video about it? I'm in that park all the time as it's right next to me. That said a lot of people think I'm local with my mask on.
I find very interesting how good you are at pronouncing “perfectly” some words, and faking not been able to say Auxiliadora??? Uhmm interesting. You look Mexican or Peruvian. Or you might even be a Ecuadorian from the North.
Wow I am taking this as a compliment that you think I pronounce some words perfectly! I am actually Canadian! I am third generation Irish Italian that grew up in Nova Scotia. That said, Andres does really try to correct my pronunciation but he wasn't there when I shot that clip so part of it was not knowing how to pronounce it and I forgot the name. Actually I did take a DNA test because I felt like I have the same body type as many Latinas, but sadly it came back as boring old European roots.
