Watching this a 2nd time, we wanted to share that you did a great job making the car chat seem like we were listening to a very natural conversation. Bringing some light to reasons the roads are better in one part of the Amazon vs. the other, is an excellent point to discuss when traveling to this area. Please savor your family time, and slowly charge your batteries. We hope you feel free to let the comments accumulate. Guess what? They'll likely still be here in a few weeks.
This was a great teaser video for what might be to come. We enjoyed Andrés' explanation of the route options. He appears to be an excellent driver. Thanks for including Latin American Spanish subtitles. Could you please repeat the fun fact of what percentage of viewers of the last video weren't subscribers? (I'm like # 86)
@@ayngelina My educated guess is some of it has to do with certain titles and RUclips recommendations reaching new 1st time viewers. Who knows? We do see your subscriber count is now at 9.7k. ¡Felicidades!
Thank you. Yes I agree with RUclips exposing my video to more people it does push yhe number up so I can’t complain especially the huecas videos as they are my favourite.
@@ayngelina You're right. In fact, your 1st Flying To Ecuador video roughly 9 months ago is how we found you. We knew nothing about you or your channel, however RUclips seemed to think that based upon our viewing history, you'd be worth a suggested view. Well.... Soon after, you published your 1st Cuenca Huecas video, and we realized they were right. This was the video which made us subscribe.
I'm in Canada for the summer but I'll be back in Ecuador for Dia de los Difuntos and other celebrations. But I shot extra videos before I left Ecuador so I could continue to share over the summer.
I enjoyed this informative video and look forward to watching some more. I lived in Cuenca throughout the 1990's but have been back in Canada since 2000. I often dream of returning. I live in Ontario. What part of Canada are you from?
I'm from Nova Scotia, moved to Toronto in 2000 and then 2010 I bought a one-way ticket to Mexico and traveled overland to Argentina solo. I started my website which is my full time job but last year I returned to Ecuador to start shooting video for this channel.
No more dangerous than the US, there is a dangerous city in Ecuador but due to drug trafficking and it is Guayaquil, another city is Quito, in general Ecuador is relatively safe, there are much more dangerous countries, colo Venezuela, Haiti, Colombia, Brazil, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru
No more dangerous than the US, there are 2 dangerous cities Quito and Guayaquil, the rest there is insecurity but not at a high level, the pandemic brought unemployment and that brought insecurity. I hope everything happens
Canal libre is right. The crime and particularly the murders are drug related. Because of the trafficking to get the drugs from Peru to Colombia you do see more crime on the coast. In the Andes it’s much better, although as Quito is the capital city you need to be careful just as you would in Rome, Barcelona or Paris.

You're right! Sometimes it's hard to let go but it has to be done.
Andrés did a great job with the Digital Nomad Ecuador Bacon is Magic sign!
He's a very considerate person.

Thank you so much, are you planning to come to Ecuador?
@@ayngelina yes in January. I haven't been there in 7 years. Last time I went I brought home a puppy

I cannot get those tortillas out of my head! Can't wait for my next visit to Ecuador later this year. 🛬
So good! I also had tortillas made from machicha in my Latacunga video and they were incredible.

Haha you should go! This series will show you that even visiting the towns can be easy. Gualaquiza was only 3 hours from Cuenca
@@ayngelina how long fro Guayaquil

I think it was 74% I thought the number would start to decline but it keeps yo-yoing.
