I’m really liking the traditional shapes, not many turners doing spindle work on the you tube so I’m watching all your videos

If I had turned as many spindles as I had bowl, I might come close to your level. I think I went to bowls after 2 spindles, and just fell in love with bowl turning. Nice to watch what you can do.

I have learned so much about the skew from you, Running your videos at reduced speed makes them great tutorials. Thank you for spending the time to share your turning mastery with us.

I could do this too...although it would take at least a full week of trial and error. (Emphasis on error) ;-) Not to mention all the scrap wood I would generate. Ha Ha, but that is how we learn. Thanks for posting this one. Your videos are fascinating to watch, try not to make us wait so long for the next.

I love your work. I made a three legged stool for a charity auction and it made AU $360 however I put that down to the skill of the auctioneer. 3 years later I'm not sure you will read comments on this video anymore but I'm curious about your tenoning gauges. Are they commercially available or shop made? They certainly look safer than verniers that I use.

    • @woodturner21

They are home made. Very easy just a slot cut in to a piece of sheet metal.
