That’s a good idea. I like watching it by myself with a light because i can see exactly when i am at overlap. Of course way easier to do off camera. Lol

Man mine is being a pain starts one time doesnt start another time.. did a carb rebuild on it now it's like almost wants to start but doesn't so fires but just not enough to start almost like flooding.... I give up any ideas?? Could it be value clearance for hard starting?? Thanks in advance

That would be great! I should have you shoot me an email. My email is in the about section of youtube. You could swap the petcock but honestly i just plug off the vacuum line at the carb and the petcock and use reserve or on and have never had an issue.
@@Schneids15 yes i have done that, cleaned the carb, checked the petcock, but it will only run good on prime. otherwise it dies after a few seconds and is hard to start.
hi! I got a question about my quadrunner 300 1992. The front diff is making weird clicking noise sometime when I turn or push the 4 wheeler when its off. Even if the 4x4 is not engaged. I wonder what can cause that? bad oil? borken gear or something else? The 4x4 still work, but the diff lock i'm not shure.
Great as usual. Love the videos about the kingquad 300. Just aquired a 2000 Kingquad 300 with only 1928 KLM on it but seems like it is stuck in gear because I can't shift any of the levers. Any ideas. Thanks.
My quad is hard to start when cold i put choke start shut off like 5 sec after when give throttle die too and after like 1 min finish take gaz and run when hot start easy and run great
Has anyone had their king quad have a very hard start,I mean like starter wines for a bit then will turn over,some times it will turn over a few times but very hard.replaced starter same thing,pull plug turns over fast put finger over plug hole and stops turning over,I’m lost
An easier way is to stick your finger over the hole. When valves are both closed, the piston pressure will "pop" your finger off of the hole. If you have a buddy you don't really care for you can put the spark plug against the back of his hand to verify, hahaha

I use a compression gauge tube and add a balloon so you can find top on the compression. Way easier to figure it out.

You think both being out of tolerance would cause a lack of power i have alot of trouble keeping speed on hills

Are you sure it is coming from the diff? I would be looking at a CV Joint

You can rebuild them i think.... i have only replaced boots.

Did you push down on the lever? There is a detent that requires you to push before shifting.

what would make exhaust glow red when you hold high idle?
Extremely lean condition.
i have a poping noise when i give throttle is that valves or carb isue
If run without intake on it will run lean and cause a popping.

Basically the first "repair" i did on mine was to replace the old cap o-rings.

Sounds like your starter clutch is failing. Same thing happened to mine. The one way bearing your starter spins fails and causes this.
