There’s no doubt in mind that he’s a Florida Man. Between going out in a hurricane, just leaving his life and biking the country, buying a spear and exiting society for days, and nearly dying at every point of his life, there’s no way he isn’t a Florida Man

Wait wait wait... had a PC with DOOM when he was in single digit years old... shit am I even older than gramps? Come on man, you were supposed to be the one vtuber that didn't make me feel ancient lol.
If we were to follow his lore-accurate age, Vesper wouldn't have been a twinkle in his father's eye when Doom came out... or at the very latest baking in the oven. Unless if at every season of "28" he regresses back to a baby...
@@Kay_Sea251 thats funny, because my mom practically feeded me and my baby sis while playing Doom (i'm 29 now). Now everytime she is like "why are you like this" i use that fact as a trap card
The younglings won't believe the stuff their parents did when they were growing up. Flamethrower super soakers and deadly stabbing implements were pretty regular crafts for the unsupervised minor to make in the 90's.
When my uncle was a teenager in the 90's he made an actual cannon. Like he welded a big metal tube onto some wheels and used it to launch beer cans into the woods. It's still back near the woods to this day.
This was amazing. He’s a great story teller and is a real inspiration. I’ve been so afraid of getting older and I’m 27. He shows that it doesn’t matter how old you get, you can still achieve dreams.
Rewatching highlights of his insane story makes me think that perhaps... I like listening to Vesper because his crazy stories reminds me of my Dad's story where I'm just like "WTF were u doing and I am glad you survive"

When I was young I was the eldest boy in my street, the younger boys would usually follow what I do. We also made weapons out of anything we could find... Me, I nailed woods that I could find to shape it into a sword. 😅
Sometimes I look back on my childhood and my daily life and it scares me just how similar it is to that of a Florida resident seeing as I don't live in Florida.
4000 miles?? as in over 6000km? I checked google maps and that's like almost from Miami to LA and back (tbf that's be like 5k but he said over 4k anyway). How long was he gone for jfc?!?! bruh...
4:51 The candle would not have worked. Easiest method is gutting a lighter or lamp. Also, super soakers that don't have a "spray" function don't work, but you can fix that by messing with the nosle internals.. Though frankly, a good old compressed can of any flammable substance and a lighter make a much quicker and more interesting flame... though there is that risk of losing a hand. P.S. Also, you're just a normal guy from where I grew up. Like.. you'd fit right in. Don't know why everyone keeps calling you a Florida man.
I feel like this guy is the only one that could tell me stories for hours without getting bored and that’s coming from someone with a short attention span.

He isn't just "A" Florida man, he is THE Florida man, the Progenitor of all Florida men, the real SCP-0
The stab stories, too.
Considering the accent and the nonchalance about hurricanes, he is probably actually from Florida.
As a person who lives in Florida I agree
Vesper: “I’m the most hinge!”
Also vesper: “i ate styrofoam”
“Im like the most hinged!”

My dream is to be the nurse who takes care of Vesper in his retirement home and hear his zatsudans tales

or a nightmare if he start making or buying crazy shit and you wouldn't stop him in time XD
the friends that will yell at you while being on the verge of punching you for doing something incredibly stupid, those are your best friends
I mean, it's the eye of the storm, not during the wind and rain, so...
As you can tell, yes, I've experienced many hurricane landfall.
Florida man here. Hurricanes are fun, and the eyes are wonderful times for shenanigans.
Vesper is certainly a man with a lot of life experience.
WHAT IS A MAN BUT A MISERABLE PILE OF EXPERIENCES
I felt we got to experience "you never know the true value of something until it's gone." With Vesper, I'm so happy to have this funny old man back
oof, this comment hurts a bit given the news that came out today-
Even as a 7 year old he had a fascination to Spears by tieing a knife at the end of wood
7:59
I mean at least his roommates cared about him and this is my favorite story 😂
I feel like I could get lost in a hurricane and most of the roommates I've had wouldn't even notice.

@@Kay_Sea251 try Nina kosaka from NijiSanji. I’m convinced she’s mid to late 40s and her game choices back up that theory.

He just un-ironically said "pump the sucker, and squirt" and didn't even miss a beat...
BTW: "That's what she said"... 😉
You forgot about the gasoline station store story
It's okay I'll be collecting stories and compile them
damn Vesper on a Forrest Gump marathon with his bike is quite an adventure
He says "like" a lot. That's how you know he's a 90s kid. Speaking from like experience.
Vesper is described as a grandpa... according to google (a shaky source I know) he is only 3 years older than me...
Pain Peko.
3:46 so it seems that Vesper has been wanting a whole ass spear his whole life.
As someone older than Vesper, so much of this is so familiar.
Gramps' stories are always so fun to listen to ^^
One of the greatest things about having boomer vtubers will always be the sheer amount of precious storytime. Thank you gramps.

I love Vespapa’s stories sm
Vesper is truly a grandpa with a lot of life stories. He's like the grandpa I've never had xD

You know that granny in Majora's Mask that tells stories that make you fall asleep? This feels like that, except it's actually engaging
So you’re telling me he technically ran doom in his mind
I also like the story of how he completed xcom in one sitting while skipping sleep and school

SWIMMING: One of the basic , practical skills a person should have..
Now I'm curious how well that makeshift flamethrower would work.
Time to dig out the Supersoakers.
There's another timeline where Vesper causes the death of all of us.
Still the most hinged Holopro
This sounds like a legit backstory of the Son of Alucard
I mean it looks like he's living quite a life
Vesper the Florida Man confirmed.
I would be really excited to hear Ame and Vesper trading life stories.

I don't know if he is or not but I remember he said that he was 28
