    Leave a comment with what you think of the all new Sandero! Or if you have any questions, ask away.
    It's also worth noting that Some countries get a more basic entry level 'Access' spec of the Sandero. That isn't sold in Ireland. Only this 'Essential' spec, along with 'Comfort'.

    Thanks, finally a video that shows the basic 65 hp non turbo engine and the purist "essential" trim. I have decided to finally do my driving license. I never thought I would consider a brand new car, but the Sandero makes a really good impression.
    I really like the design, simple and sporty... I would also opt for the Essential trim and the only thing I add would be the 90/101 hp turbo petrol engine with LPG. Air conditioning always makes me ill and Google Maps is the best navigation system anyway.

      Hi, thanks for watching.
      The entry level model in Ireland comes with both cruise control and air con, this may differ in other markets.
      But from a quick google search it seems that both France and the UK models also have both as standard.

      Thanks for watching 👍.
      The seating position comfortable, and pretty typical for cars in this class(Fiesta, Polo).
      If it's extra height you want, then the Stepway version might be worth a look.

    Thank you for a objective review of an affordable car, a car which meets a need, performs an honest job-of-work, for a modest outlay. The fullsize spare wheel is an option, the cost of the option of rim / tyre / car jack is a wise buy, little more than the cost of an retail new tyre alone. How is the gearchange action? The precious Sandero had a very vague feel, is that 1st or 3rd I have engaged vagueness ? Please measure and write up interior noise in db at speed on the motorway, measure using a sound meter App on your mobile phone. I would prefer halogen bulbs over Led, you can replace a blown halogen headlight bulb for loose change in your pocket, for LED headlights, you will pay with a credit card!

    Do you think this sce 65bhp engine would cope if you were to carry passengers a lot of the time? My current car (Kia Picanto) has a similar engine, but its a much smaller car, so I'm quite sure that it'd be worth spending more for the 90bhp engine. But this is the spec that I would be most likely to go with, so thank you for the video! It's helped a lot 😁

    • @DeckOfCars
      @DeckOfCars  3 года назад +3

      Thanks for watching, and glad the video helped!
      The 65 bhp will do the job, but the larger turbos will offer that little bit more comfort. If you expect to carry passengers regularly, one the larger engines might be worth the extra money.👍

    can you explain the radio a bit more..there are no conventional controls, its operated via the stalks?

    • @DeckOfCars
      @DeckOfCars  3 года назад +2

      Thanks for watching!
      So in this spec, there is no screen or buttons in the centre of then dash like we would be familiar with in most cars.
      Instead, there is a stalk on the steering wheel column that you can control the station, volume and media.
      The LCD screen between the two dials for speed and revs shows you the info relating to the radio, volume etc.
      Hope this was helpful 👍

      I ordered my Sandero Essential few weeks ago and wanted a spare wheel (costs in Finland 190€). So it is an option at least here.
      I would not like to start to use a tyre prepare kit in middle of nowhere and then try to get proper air pressure. And that would happen for sure between mid night and early morning.
