While I am glad she didn't die from a drug overdose or car accident like so many of her peers (RIP Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars), it is a shame she faded into obscurity over the years. I doubt many kids today would even know her name if you asked them who she is.

I've listened to this for so many times and want to listen to it even more. Absolutely love it! I didn't really like the original song that much at first but now I love it because it reminds me of this remix.
It's amazing how this is supposed to sound like it was straight out of the 80s, but when you couple that sound with more modern-sounding harmonies, tempos, song structures, etc. it really gives it a whole new sound. It's really cool!
