as someone who listened to 80s music as a kid, id say this sounds more modern. the vocals in the 80s were stronger, still autotuned sometimes, but take robert smith for rick astley for example. they loud. the music video would have more expressive dancing, women, and less special effects. the background synth sound 80s, but the rest of the instrumental sounds more like something from today. no hate at all though, i really enjoyed it! edit: i never said i was alive in the 80s. i just listen to 80s music. i am a teenager

Imagine Caramelldansen in 80s style...
Wouldn't be too different from the track as it was originally produced-- before the Internet sped it up and turned it into the "ironic party anthem" it is today.
So come on, dance on my balls, cat fucking a handbag, yours only yours a walrus tickle dance pad, it's no lie, Lisa in the crowd said look Henry had a vaginal malfunction!

I love synthwave and this song helped me get through a tough time in my life. No joke. I was very sad, depressed, had to write an enormous thesis and I didn't even have a table to put my laptop on. I would put the laptop on a chair, books on another chair nearby, and this song on loop in a tab. I must have listened to it thousands of times, and when I got tired of writing I would sometimes just open the tab and look at the clip and the lyrics. Just wanted to say thank you the creator. God bless you.
as someone who listened to 80s music as a kid, id say this sounds more modern. the vocals in the 80s were stronger, still autotuned sometimes, but take robert smith for rick astley for example. they loud.
the music video would have more expressive dancing, women, and less special effects.
the background synth sound 80s, but the rest of the instrumental sounds more like something from today.
no hate at all though, i really enjoyed it!
edit: i never said i was alive in the 80s. i just listen to 80s music. i am a teenager
I agree with everything you said, but autotune was invented in 1997
@@Yugioow oh my bad. sorry
@@izzythetrashposter5710 oh no, don't apologize! Haha

What makes this remix amazing is that you eschewed the iconic riff of the original for your own synth sounds, and you still made a banger. I end up humming the remix's synth sounds instead of the original opening bassline.

1914: ww1, there still isn’t any color camera, there’s a war between empires, radio technology. 1980: very interesting pop culture and more modern than ever. Its so strange how much the world changed in a lifetime
Just fyi: the first experiments into color photography actually took place in the 1860s and they did have color photography in 1914, but it wasn't common.
"ww1" "there's a war between empires" That's the same thing. No need to mention it twice.
