I started watching this video on my TV & about ½ way through I watched the rest of the video on my phone. 👍 My daughter & son in law think I'm crazy because I watch you, Poly Prophet & other scrappers, as well as storage locker buyers. 🤔😮 😂 I must say I am a bit obsessed but I do NOT care, I enjoy watching all of you guys! I love you & everyone else I watch everyday. ❤❤❤❤ My daughter loves watching Disney vloggers, travel vloggers, cruise line vloggers, etc. My s-i-l loves watching what he loves to watch, mostly tough guy videos, movies, shows, etc. I don't call them crazy for watching what they enjoy watching. For some reason they think what I watch is crazier than what they watch. 🤔 Maybe they're right. LOL It cracks me up, I love them like crazy anyways. They are good to me & for me. I also want to say, May God Bless you & keep His Hand of Protection Over you and ALL of your loved ones ALWAYS! 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Dear Ben, first and foremost I'd like to say that all kind of your videos work healing on me regardless wheter it's scrapping stuff, pick ups or street scrapping. Keep going. Thank you. I remeber that you told once that you, as all other vloggers, ran out of fresh ideas for videos and I have a couple for you. It's very interesting for me to see what happens with the scrap after you cash it out to scrap yard or large board byuers etc. I understand that it requires to communicate to the people you are dealing with and a bit of their assistance but it would be really interesting to see the next step of the recycled materials for which you invest your time. I watched the American loggers series and there was an amazing episode when they finally decided to trace their wood and logs they deliver to the mill to see what is done with ther raw materials. How they become a planks, beams, bars, future building and furniture materials. They showed how the mill is working, the timber processing machines and equipment. That's would be interesting about recycling too. Wires, metals, boards, CRTs - what happens to them next? How they become something useful. How machines or human work. Where they go? China? Ghana? Woolongong? To know it may be an interesting challenge for you yourself. What do you think?

Ben you should consider having a small batch of caustic soda heated on standby when scrapping boards that have gold plating scatted around the board, especial the small ones related to telecom and then also ram sticks. You don’t need to dip the whole board, just about an inch of it to know if the whole board has more gold plating under the solder mask. Small batch, just grading the board itself. When your done with the caustic soda, cool it and dilute it and ph balance it with citric acid Coffee filter out the solder mask then dispose of the water. Wineries use Caustic Soad and Citric Acid for sterilizing tanks, hoses. Pumps and connectors. Use approprite ppe until it’s diluted and from there it goes straight down the drain. Peace 🖖🏼 and great video

Another idea is a challenge "I need a holiday!" There are a plenty of destinations you can visit for 500 A$ (airtickets from Melbourne) including NZ and Malaysia or other countries in SEA (I made some research). A tough 2 or 3 day street scrapping in single weekend with several scrap yard runs could make up enough for your holiday! It would be as exciting I guess as the AFL finals. Wouldn't it?

The big bulky shiny scratched PS3 original is the one that's worth the most, it's the only one with built in hardware for backwards compatibility all the way back to PS1 games. It was replaced because of the super small 80GB hdd, the later versions have a larger hard drive but lost backwards compatibility. The PS3 slim (smallest one) was the last model to be released but also the least valuable. of the three. Cheers Ben.

At 1:31:45 when you said that the hard drive had been taken out of the PS2... the more likely scenario is that it never had one.
Those machines were about $200 USD when it first came out, and to the best of my knowledge, there was only 2 situations in which someone would absolutely need a hard drive, which was a somewhat expensive add-on back in '05:
    1) if you wanted to play Final Fantasy 11 (online only game) since it was too big to fit on a PS2 DVD.
    2) If you wanted to do a bit of (legal) hardware hacking and turn your PS2 into a Linux PC, there was a kit you could buy to do that.
Every game (other than FF 11) was optimized well enough to fit on a standard DVD disc, and the save files generally only needed a small portion of a fairly inexpensive 8 MB memory card, so hard drives being included with the PS2 was seen as an unnecessary expense.

Small PS3 marketed as PS3 Slimline, just being more compact. The middle size is the newer model but isn't cross compatible along with the slimline model i believe.
