    You IC selling story reminds me when I tried to sell scrap germanium lenses. In theory germanium is worth a lot, in practice only electronic componants manufacturers and thermography lenses manufacturers need germanium. Problem: they do not purchase their raw materials second hand from ebay !!! I finally ended selling 2000 dollars worth of germanium for 100 dollars or so, it went to China and Japan.

    There was very interesting story recently about Australia opening a plastic recycling plant that uses hot water at high pressure to liquefy the plastic back to oil form which can be sold to make new plastics or refined into petrol.
    I know here in the US I haven't found any real sources to give the plastics to when I scrap, the recycle centers will even trash any loose plastics since their vendors don't really want it.

    You did GREAT Ben!!
    Love ALL of your marathon videos! Sometimes I can get through it in a short time and sometimes it takes a couple of days!
    I'm looking forward to your future vids! It's going to be different and great now that you can get into your garage and work bench!!
    I hope you're still doing your RUclips channel when you start your gold recovery and refining!!
    Have a GREAT Day My Friend!!!
    P.S. You said at some of your vids from 3 & 4 years ago that your gold recovery is going to be your retirement!!
    Don't wait to long!! You probably have enough gold to support you for many years!!! Are you waiting until you have $10,000,000.00 in gold before you want to start your retirement plan!! Haha, but seriously you got... I'm guessing at least in the low 6 figures of gold!! That's just what I've been able to view from your vids!! I know you probably have WAY more than that, that I've never seen!!

    • @eWasteBen
      @eWasteBen  4 года назад +2

      not sure about 6 figures but it's enough to keep me busy when I make a start

    • @shaneyork300
      @shaneyork300 4 года назад +1

      @@eWasteBen If gold is $2,500.00 or more an oz. I wouldn't be surprised!! That's only 40oz. of gold to get to $100,000.00. In just your CPU collection you have a few ounces or more. Alot of this is guessing, but I'm guessing from watching all your videos with most of your videos I've watched twice. If cpu's can yield a tenth a gram of gold, 10 cpu's for a gram. Obviously not talking about the pinless cpu's. But dang, when you have barrels that you can't move. You've got a GREAT thing going on! I'm supper excited for your future my friend!!

    Every video I watch I realize more and more how bbn lucky you are. In the states my 3 scrap yards won't take have of what you put in scrap steel and they accept electronic waste but don't pay for it. And prices are low low low. It's hard to even make money off mother boards unless you mail them somewhere. Plus the scrap you find on the street is insane. I don't know how guys live here.
