Having daughters is an amazing gift. I have 3 and I would take on all the pain they could ever endure if it means they don't have to, and I would gladly protect them with my own life. I remember the story like it was yesterday. The daughters could have been saved had they run away completely away from their parents. But their mom called them back saying their father was not well or something like that and the daughters were so caring, they came back, only to find out it was a trap and the father killed them. Prosecutors did that on purpose. After trial and post conviction, criminals can say they didn’t understand what was being said. Having an interpreter covers the states case.
English used in court is much different than casual english. it's only fair that a defendant can understand completely what is being said and what is going on
