I laughed so hard thinking about “This makes zero sense! Imagine if you got fired and HR gave the notice to your worst enemy?” and applying it to my normal life. The catch is that I’m currently injured and it hurts to laugh, but it was totally worth it. Ha ha ha.
Did anyone, at any point like the Harris twins? They seem like the most generic, mediocre, "tough guy" tag team and didn't add anything to WWF, WCW, or TNA. Just bodies to have boring matches.
I always saw them as just throwaway guys. I am amazed they were around for so long.

This was my take as well. Ridiculous that Kash or the ref, or hell ANY ringside official didn't notice or take caution as they just kept on with all high spots. Disgraceful honestly.

More importantly; pretty sure Trinity got concussed by that attempted jumping huricanrana off the ring steps as her head hit the floor pretty hard. She botched everything after that, both the ref and Kid Kunt should have easily recognized this and either ended the match immediately, ended the match prematurely, or how about they cut off at least five or six of the upcoming high spots involving her in the match. Extremely dangerous and bush league aka extremely TNA.
Not saying you're wrong but like you said this was TNA. Not to mention it was almost 20 years ago, when "the show must go on" attitude was still very much the norm.

Gangrel kills me. Lol. So this is probably common knowledge at this point but just going by what his character appears to be to me he played a lot of Vampire: The Masquerade growing up. Or someone in storyline writing did. Gangrel is one of the 13 main vampire clans known for their animalistic and beast like behavior. They commonly have long unkempt hair and prefer to live like a wild animal opposed to the comforts of the city.

He wasn't bad, heck, I would even say he was pretty fun at this time. And I think the little stable between him, David Flair and Brian Lawler actually had a ton of potential as heels with better booking.

This is the second time I've seen Kid Kash appearing to borderline shoot assault Trinity and other female talent. I think Disco and Konnan talked about this match/this show on their podcast once. IIRC Trinity and Kash were dating at the time and a lot of people in the back were uncomfortable with how stiff/ugly their match was. Same episode where he talks about how the Raven match was a mess because they both got hurt.

Harris twins aren’t racist, Ron has a bi racial family, and they’ve jobbed out and lost to plenty of black and Hispanic wrestlers like konnan and Ron killings, a racist wouldn’t lose to someone they think is inferior to them, they have never to my knowledge while working in ECW, WCW, WWF, or TNA ever had any controversies back stage or said or done anything to any wrestlers of other ethnicities. All we have to go on are some tattoos and they have claimed they didn’t know what it meant, but even if they did, it never got in the way of the business and none of the other wrestlers of different ethnicities have refused to work with them.

Maybe I was just a dumb sheltered kid but when Triple H said "People like Booker T" I literally just thought he meant people like Booker T, someone who can't really carry the company on their own or holds themselves like Triple H.
When you've got a guy who's gimmick is wearing expensive clothes, riding in limos and associates themselves with the very best he's on-screen in a different league to Booker T.
Triple H did come out and say by "people like Booker T" he meant WCW guys which sounds like a quick cop-in
Except Triple H was a WCW guy before WWF. Also Triple H was a mainevent flop since ratings drop when people main way of getting entertainment was watching TV.

Before watching this, I had never considered signing up or paying for any TNA content, but I honestly might do it now just to enjoy in full this glorious trainwreck that is the early years.
