Hi Mike my deer season was very similar to yours. A lot of sitting. I think I did 3 or 4 all day sits. And nothing to show for it. I did take a doe on Nov 1st so we got a little bit of venison in the freezer. Stay safe.
It really sounded like most up here in the U.P. had a tough deer season. The mild weather sure didn't move the deer. I guess we can hope for a total mild winter and help out with the population for future years.
Mike that boat in WI would be called a yard ornament!😂 We finished our 9 day gun season and week long muzzleloader season and like you it really sucked. Only 4 deer taken 1 buck, 3 does.There is always next year. Like you said, wouldn’t trade it for the world! Oh well thats hunting.👍TCT

Congratulations to your dad on his harvest. I feel your pain about not seeing any deer. I feel pressure and the weather did have something to do with deer movement this year, without cooler temperatures they had no reason to move. But its always great to get out and sit in the woods.
Nice video. Yes it was a warm one and a windy one for sure. We had some luck but didn’t see the deer like was usually do. I was shocked that we got 2 considering how warm and windy it was. Thanks for taking us along

Too many wolves around me. More wolves than coyotes around here. Deer hunting just hasn’t been the same since the wolf populations have exploded. Was warm too but didn’t get much on camera either. When you get more pics of wolves than bucks it’s not a weather problem here.

Good morning congrats to dad i have been paying attention to wind direction a lot more since retirement here in northeast lower mich the south and east wind on my property really affects the deer more than the temp still had a great season one with the bow and one with the rifle first time in 50 yrs of hunting

Mike try hunting for 3 month for moose hunting my season close on end off December. Had 27 non resident licensed to fill on my last two tags to fill . 😊
Looks like the weather plagued a lot of us this year. Who else was thinking that old boat would make a unique deer blind. Especially if you had a Bimini top over it ;)
Well they say yoopers are packer backers which is easy to do with the history of the lions but any change this year with them winning for once or you still rooting for them cheese curds

Yep crazy weather this year. Something about El Nino. We'll be back at it next year. Did you end up shooting any deer? Menominee Co used to be the hot spot for deer if I remember right.
Had 2 opportunities day 1 and 2 but I don’t like shooting on the run. Passed a few others but nothing else worth dragging through the swamp. Next year hopefully
I actually don't go out during firearm season. I go out during bow and like going out with the muzzleloader. So many hunters during firearm that I feel better off skipping that 2 weeks.
Somebody gave it to my uncle years ago . He just left it sitting there and never did anything with it! We just moved it out of sight. Thanks for watching.

I went the whole 9 day rifle and out 4 times for muzzleloader... Not seeing a deer. Couple days left in muzzleloader might get back out

The UP hunting was pitiful this year. If it is that warm, I will cancel the trip next time.
