maybe its because they didnt shoot anyone but tank the whole game. yeah dva isnt great on havana but they're literally letting lucio frontline duel them without punishing it lol
I feel him, I went 55-0, 25k damage, 17k mitigation, 4 mitigated ults, and still lost lol

That s exactly why People who understand thé game try to spam u re brains with : stats aren't nothing . It help for sûre, but for exemple : 1st , u Never die , u hit à lot , BUT , u forgot point 2 times in overtime/ end of tick..

Second , if u hold pressure , ans to get 0 death : back up , hide , etc ... Well u shooted tank 99% of game , with dva or any other aoe character u Will put à bullet on a dps who dying , take the elim, instead of jump off the map, jumping on enemy team to reset , regrouo and no stagger, only " perfection kda in mind" , u Take 45 seconds to group up , u re team have 4 death more , u , just try to baxk and group up , yup , perfection, 0 death , but again stats dont speak about u re 45 seconds useless tanking ... ^^ stats =/= game sens

@@synesthasiasthis is so true cloudy one of the best rein player on ladder has ended up with less than 10kills whilst his team will have over 20, but he knows how to take space so well and control it, that kills and damage don’t even matter is it the most satisfying gameplay probably not for everyone but it’s the right way to tank
Found the stats guy, dva can sprinkle 12 damage and get an elim. Plus you can farm that damage easy on dva especially over a full game.
Don't see you tell us what you did wrong or how you probably mis played.

This reminds me, I had a game on route 66 where i went 70-3 as dva in plat and lost. Kinda wish i had saved it and sent it in
A flightless dva is wild. The first few minutes is so pain
I hopped on console after maybe a year or so and flight is very different on console than on pc. Not saying impossible but the twitch isn't there on console which helps with manueverable flight and going where you want to go
It's DVA on Havana, kinda makes sense considering there's no good highground on 1st point for DVA

Backline, over cart to block los, right building. There is so much to do with DVA flight. Standing still gets you nothing.
On the point the player wrote about console aim: yes, some inaccuracy is to be expected, but to me it looks like there's low sensitivity or just poor tracking skills. Even as a plat tank player on console, I don't have this much trouble following targets. High sens on controller is best in general, and DVa especially doesn't need the precision you get from low sens.
(Edit: Watched a bit longer. The aim on Zarya looked a lot better than on DVa, actually.)
Whenever somebody mentions that they had way better stats than the enemy team and lost I just write them off as clueless cuz you might have more damage and elims but did those occur at an important time? cuz it only takes one good wipe in a push game to hit the next point. It's all about timing
Indeed. You might wipe the enemy team, but then proceed to fall back all the way to your own spawn, wipe the team, fall back to your own spawn. Rinse and repeat. You end up with a lot of damage and kills, with almost no deaths. But ultimately didn't achieve anything
i lost a game in plat recently 62-2 on dps, the enemy teams elims were in the 30s and i also won a game on support where the enemy had elims in the 40s and i my team had like 15, elims doesnt mean everything in overwatch, yes generally the higher elim team will win but dont press tab and see youre double the enemy teams elims and start relaxing cuz you think its gonna be a steamroll

Hearing the “aaallllllllrigHT SO” is just so satisfying whenever I click on emongg’s videos hehehe.
I wanna play overwatch so bad right now but I’m literally afraid to get deranked before the season ends. Was gold 3 in tank and climbing (got placed silver 3 and really got some traction over the last month) then after a five game win streak 2 weeks ago I must have broken my MMR or something because I’ve been losing 3 to 4 games before getting 1 win. Now I’m 14% gold 5 and not willing to risk my title on sweat lobbies and consistently getting the worst player in the lobby on my team lol I do all I can to play off my teamates and support them as a tank but they just fall over time and time again ):
Either play quick play or keep playing. If you have a 15% win rate, don’t blame your teammates. You won’t improve by blaming your teammates, just look at your replays or watch some guided, and try to improve. Also, who cares about rank? If you really wanna play ranked, play it.
My win rate in competitive last season with my 2 main tanks were 52% and 51%.. I never flame teammates in game but it’s always glaringly obvious by the end (not just scoreboard but ult usage and positioning). It was just weird how the last two weeks of the season were a constant decline after I was climbing for the last month. But I got my player titles so I’m good now 🥹

@@walker1686 yeah, the torb is way out of position at times, and diving Ana's is relatively easy
@@rainestorm6029 „Diving ana is easy“ 😹 just bc a torb is out of position doesn’t mean the team mates won’t cover for it. Again just going for dives is really bad advice. And they did dive.. when they didn’t have a ANA AND A JUNKRAT AND A TORB. And no diving nowadays isn’t easy.
Rather than the classic "This is plat?" or "Console is trash!" comment, my thoughts are more along the lines of: This is the bar. I play to this standard and I progress out of gold. It doesn't exactly look hard lol.

Maybe higher sensitivity would also help.. I know they’re playing console so it’s awkward to turn but they turn SO slowly
