I've fished all my life saltwater. Mainly South Padre Island tx. Any lure recommendations to get on my first bass? I really want to get on some for me and my son.
I love the fact that we get to see you learn. I moved to North Florida from South Alabama. A lifetime of fishing doesn't necessarily translate to a cooler full o fish. When changing locals. I learned so much by watching, asking questions and sleeping on it...
You're telling me. I moved from Cape Cod to Sarasota. North Atlantic fishing is so much different than The Gulf. So many species in that area you'd think it would be easy but it's way more complicated than poppers and menhaden. For the longest time I was tying the wrong rigs and cutting bait too big. I didn't know how many fish were right under me as opposed to in open water. Hell, you can fish in storm drains in Florida. Most of the locals won't tell you anything. It's best to just watch and learn.
Can't express how much I love the kayak videos, my man. The only thing I could say is, you should invest in a small gas cooker and cook that fish right on the spot. How cool would that be. Find an island, catch a fish and cook it there. Keep slaying!
Like the change up with seafood I try a ton of different foods and love you just going for it. Keep living your life fishing I miss that time in my life👍👍👍
@@FirstStateFishingthank you for being one of the best content creates when I started watching In 2018 or 2017 you really got me into fishing now I always go fishing with my brother
That’s a good place to fish with some muds or finger mullets. If you launch from that spot and head straight instead of going right and just fish the points and openings of the feeder creeks that’s where I usually hook up with some good fish. I hooked something last time that dragged my kayak around, tight lines and best of luck.
Nice vid like the reality of ur vids showing u have good and bad fishing days, and bro if u ever want to come to south Africa I'll host u any time u would love the salt water rivers and surf here wide variety too much to mention.
On the most recent season of Dirty Jobs, Mike Rowe fished for the Cannonball jellyfish. Check out that episode because they cooked them & ate them as well...
I do I went to Valdez Alaska and we went on a boat where a hurricane was happening we were the only boat out and the waves where huge I was smacking my head for 3 hours and it called down and we started jogging and caught some 50 pound halibut and rock bass and sting ray
New challenge Catch clean cook a fish without putting a foot on the ground! All must be done from inside your vehicle! Except you may put utensils outside on the ground, stove, ect. But no Boots on the ground! Lol Till you’ve eaten the fish!!! New challenge? Except?
Hey man I’m also in the Jacksonville area and would love to film you or make a surf fishing video together. I’m definitely no pro but think I could help you get some good clips!
This is definitely one of the most interesting catch and cooks I've ever done... would you try this? 🤔🎣
