I'd decided to start making "beginners" videos from time. After all, some of my viewers are not experts after all...
In today's "beginners" episodes: how to bind FrSky receivers with OpenTX radios. Almost all receivers: FrSky X8R, X4R, XSR, R-XSR, XM, XM+ but also "long-range" R series like R9, R9 Slim, R9 mini. With all the FrSky (and not only) OpenTX radios: Taranis X9D, Taranis Q7, X-Lite, Horus X10S, Horus X12 and so on... But also Jumper T16 or Nirvana.

Thanks - very clear. Can you do an update for binding to OpenTX 2.3? The bind has something ISRM - is that used for X series Rxs?
Hi Pawel, love the channel and some times simple staff is good too. Recently I run into a problem with my R9 MM RX and X9D Plus. Some times my RX is not working and I have to go through the binding process again. Both RX and TX are running the Flex firmware and I can't track down the problem. Any thoughts?
I know its already out there but pleas do a how to update opentx tx on your x10/x10s with out lost your models and any other tips and tricks you have found from past experiences. Thanks for everything!
I was looking at the whoops drones on bangood and see one that has a spi FrSky receiver. I have older Taranis x9. So, does this spi receiver work with my transmitter ? Been out of hobby for awhile and some things have changed.
Hi Pawel, please help me with a issue, IF I have to choose between all these News Frsky Taranis and Horus Txs, which one should I choose?, because all my five flying models are using the receiver Dr8-II Plus international versión. thanks for video Pawel, I need help for sure, I have new radiomaster tx16s it came with firmware 1.3.1.36 and I have reciever R XSR that i flashed with 2.1.0 fcc, for last 2 days i have tryed everthing I can to bind but no go with red light only and red with blue flashing but no go i have tryed all frysky models in radio but will not bind. please advise, Thanks again

Może wyjaśnisz kiedyś jak wygląda standardy transmisji dla EU-LBT vs International. Ostatnio zaobserwowałem że chyba EU-LBT ma modulację mocy. Odpaliłem radio i model miałem RSSI na poziomie 95 1m od modelu. Następnie niosłem model na miejsce startu mając blisko nadajnik i usłyszałem "telemetry lost" po ok 4 sekundach telemetry recover I miałem nagle RSSI na poziomie 75 1m od modelu. W czasie lotu RSSI spadało mi do ok 55. Po chwili znowu otrzymałem RSSI na poziomie 75-80. Odbiornik RX4R. W ogole dlaczego przybliżenie nadajnika powoduje utratę telemetrię a link działa. W spektrum czy graupnerowskie tego efektu nie ma. Pozdrawiam.

Just want to let you know that I had to use FrSkyX2 to bind with a FrSky accst R-XSR receiver. Took me hours and hours to figure this out
How do you change this in the controller? I have an X9D
@@peenabudda84 I'm not familiar with that transmitter. If it is running opentx in the section where you do the bind go up a compel of lines and there should be a spot to specify the protocol to use.
Is it possible to bind an R-XSR with CLI WITHOUT hitting bind button????
no, you have to press the button during power up
There is a 16CH/9ms Firmware for FrSky from a Betaflight developer. CH1-8 is 9ms, and CH9-16 is 18ms latency. You have to set the RSSI in the channels 5-8. Look and download here: github.com/mikeller/opentx/releases
Pawel, you can do a review, there are no reviews available. You can measure the latency in Betaflight Blackbox.
Do you have the information for your Transmitter kickstand, 3D printed? And don't worry about the people who complain about this video being too basic, no one forced them to watch it!
