Value Based Selling Vs. Price Based Selling

  • Hello Brand Lovers.
    This episode is on Value Based Selling and I have explained with examples how Value Based Selling Strategy wins over Price Based Selling.
    Most brands push price based selling but strong brands always try to promote Value Based Selling and that is how price is irrelevant in their case.
    And this is the Power of Strong Brand.
    So it is important to think like a customer and understand what customers want from your products.
    I have given some examples ( Shirt, Refrigerator, ISP) to explain this subject . If you look at the price of the portable air conditioner price in Bangladesh, you will see people often buy upper tier brands with 10-15 thousand taka more, why? Because those brands promote value, not price.
    Most successful Salesman always use their value based selling skills and their mindset is promoting value, not price. Thus they can sell products with higher price.
