Always wanted to try sanctum, could never be bothered to watch bloated 1 hour videos, yours was clear and straight to the point with some helpful tips. Sun earned 🤝
First time I've heard anyone mention sanctum is similar to roguelikes, which honestly helped me understand the entire premise of the mechanic more than any other video lol
For those who dont have money for 2 revealed rooms relic which is 5 div each You can just buy increased relic drop from monsters, which results in uber lycia to drop 3-4 relics and 1-2 of them are unique. While one of the lowest strats its cheap alternative untill you get money for the good relics to do the strat.
I think additional merchant choices are even better than room reveals. With 4 or 5 of them you get "all seeing eye" almost every run and most of the time before floor 3, which makes room reveals irrelevant, because you also don't have to be worried about missing out on good currency. The other advantage is that they reduce the difficulty of santums drastically because you end up having all the boons. Plus the chances of actually duping divines, if you only pick divines (or a mirror if you are that lucky) are way higher and way more profitable.
@@kooshappreciator4773 The "best" progressions from my understanding, if you're starting sanctum fresh so to say, would be investing into +1, or +2 room reveal relics, and running sanctums with that set up until you can afford to transition into merchant choices
@@kooshappreciator4773 You only need 4 relics with two merchant choices. discount is nice but not neccessary. you always get reduced merchant prices and increased aureus coins found as boons. On most runs I end up with all boons (except for those you can get multiple times), 8-10 major boons and 10k+ unspend aureus coins. On average I get 4 raw divines per item level 83+ sanctum . When using "the gilded chalice" relic it's 8 divines (minus the 2,5 div for the chalice). My luckiest streak was 120 div in 10 sanctums ( used "the gilded chalice" on all runs). I've never seen anyone get that with the reveal strategy.
Thanks for advanced Lycia hints. Need more details such as - How much damage I need to comfortaby do T16 Sanctums? What relics to prioritse early? What rooms to prioritise? Afflictions / Boons section is also too short. Also I wouldl ike to know how to move in Meteor rooms - always take a lot of damage there. I played Sanctum League but still only have general idea how people run them.
20mil damage for lvl 83 sanctums 5-10mil damage for anything below, you'd want can see one additional room apposed to the 2 additional room relics early and if you struggle on the sanctum mainting resolve you can run gain inspiration when you recieve an affliction. boons and afflictions aren't too complication and just avoided the afflictions which sound bad. lastly, the meteor room just needs constant movement and dont stand atop the fire.
Glad to help you grow you channel, nice video and well spoken. I was going to make the Inq. Hexblast miner, got to 81 with about a 12 divine investment and was still struggling to through a level 73 sanctum.. Might have to revisit the build, or take a look at yours.
@@ideal7309 Yea I dunno what the issue was, I just sold my gear, my a trickster and played regular hexblast and by level 80 I was blasting 83 sanctums with ease.
Penance brand is by far the best imo, with proper attachment range and duration you can get the brands to attach almost off screen and can clear arena rooms easily, and its more instant damage than mines in non boss rooms.
First time running sanctum this league. Found hard to always avoid that damn wind tunnel. It tooke me 2 days to master lycia, but now i m making 20/30 divs/hr thx to the hour of divinity strategy. Insane revenue because with that relic u cannot get boons,so i just run picking the less worse afflicions. My best time is 10 min per sanctum
@@cscoleslaw yeah, especially when u r forced to take the -40dmg or +50% life afflictions. but after 15/20 tomes of training arc,it becomes very very easy
My #1 tip, bring you single target DPS to the moon! Also avoid screen clutter if possible skill animations may look nice but I’ve died many times just because I couldn’t see the ground
Hi, is it worth to use +1 room revels relics, until you can afford +2? i just following your pob, and doing sanctums now :D the build is good so far, but i made my own changes here and there :D
An alternative relic strat which makes your runs a bit more forgiving is getting inspiration gain on affliction gained and increased relics dropped. This allows you to sacrifice all your resolve in pact rooms for boons and often end up with 500+ inspiration at the end. Obviously makes profits more volatile depending on if you get all seeing eye or good relic drops. You can then transition to the 2 room relics once you are getting closer to not being hit in runs and have the money to get all 2 room relics
So you still need resis, even if you aim for a "no hit" runner? - Just wondering in your "before Sandstorm" setup - And also - Levelling as a Hexblast Miner maybe also good?
cannot answer the first question for you, still getting into sanctum and feeling it out what is best as for your 2nd question you can play hexblast from level 31 on a leaguestart scenario all you need is 1-2c to buy a weapon currently doing a hexblaster in ssf since i already have that weapon and its so damn strong and smooth to level with especially because of automation support
your videos inspired me to run sanctum! i'm juicing up an alt to run sanctum now. Question, do i have to be fully leveled before running sanctum? or does sanctum give exp and i can just level through sanctum?
You can get them on the trade website in the bulk page. Or use something like TFT or PoeExchange. Not sure why the lower level ones are that expensive now.
Is it actually profitable to run 72-75 sanctums with relic drop relics? I got 10c from my lvl 72 and thats what i paid for the tome... did i do something wrong?
Each run is gonna be different. It is definitely very profitable no matter what level you run. Most of your profit is going to be from raw divine rooms.
It does matter just not as much as it would in mapping. If you have enough damage in these you never get hit. Also res because pretty hard to max when you only have like 3 slots to do so
You can run it ya. It ends up not actually giving you much of a gain if any. The bubblegum currency you get without hour of divinity adds up quickly. And when you get a run without divines on the last floor you end up loosing almost 2 div with the current prices of books + hour of divinity. I run them when I get them tho.
I run a bunch of sanctum and profit-wise hour of divinity is definitely worth it, but you need a really good build. Benchmark I use before grinding with hod is one-phasing lyciq without vial/ornate dagger and with one less dmg boon (blunt sword/spiked shell). My char is zhp though, so if you’re tankier you might be able to get away with less dmg. Good luck
@@kooshappreciator4773 nah it's always worth it a run with 0 divs may happen but is pretty rare. i usually get atleast 4 divs. got a run with 8 divs duped(so 16) if u r unlucky u may get only 1 div(duped is 2) and u get the cost of the relic back, but most of the time u get always insane profit
Thanks for watching everyone! If your interested in my build I have a guide on my channel and the full pob is in the description.

for merchant to be better than reveal + hour of divinity you need almost all relics to be 2 choice + 7 discount, which is very high investment
That does sound like a pretty solid strategy also. Haven’t tried it myself though.

Cursed curse to pick from 3 lvl of room for divs
Yeah lets all go sanctum and forget maps and atlas. They have shitty drop rate😂
I want them to buff loot for a lot of league mechanics.
