Slow living with the family on a cozy winters day at the cottage. Simple living is just a way of life, it helps us keep things in check and be more intentional. So, we welcome you to come along with us as we read, tidy up the house as the kids play, we make and eat food, and spend the evening outside around the fire pit. I hope this video inspires, is relaxing, and encourages you today. Have a cozy blessed week.
Slow living isn’t a trend for me its a lifestyle I have embraced for years, I really learned it from my mom and grandma. We always just took our time to enjoy the beauty of everyday. I’m a romantic at heart, with a very practical lifestyle approach “ keep it simple”. I grew up on a farm and I think that furthered my love of simplicity and back to the basics mindset.
We moved six months ago to our cozy cottage, and we are in the process of fixing it up. I strive to make our home cozy and inviting no matter what stage of remodeling we are in. Making a home hygge and cozy is just a normal way of life for me and I can’t imagine it any other way.

I love to see creative hands working whether those hands belong to a woman or a man. From my experience, men here in the south like to observe others working while they sit and expect to be served. I'm glad see Daniel use his creative hands working with Abby Jo to set a wonderful example for their children. That's what makes it beautiful to me.

I grew up with a mother that did everything with haste and chaos and frantically driven. I am a slow living type person so my mother thinks I’m lazy. All that said only to say with a genuine heart that I wish you had been my mom. Lol.
