    I LOVE these recs. I’ve been learning and interested in ASL for years now and love to see different types of representation of it in books. I’ve only ever read it twice in YA novels (A Quiet Kind of Thunder and Give Me A Sign) so I’m really looking forward to reading some in adult books ♥️ thanks for the recs

      Ah, well. I'm not sure how great the rep is to be fair. In particular, Landon King learns ASL ridiculously quickly, even if he is dubbed as a genius! But if you read Anna Fury, Julia's character appears in all the books in the Northern Rejects series and I know the author did put a lot of care into getting her character right, as well as how the others interacted with her and communicated with her!

    Kingdom Fall by A Zavarelli is amazing. The heroine's throat was sliced and now she can't talk. The story is absolutely magnificent
