Yo, this is great. This allows for much more dynamic patches. It's a Friday night and I know I'm gonna go wild twiddling those knobs later because I definitely have a life.

This is really nice! I'm looking forward to putting some of this into practice.
Also: the Expression Control device! I feel stupid, I've been trying to work out how to use MIDI to change what my expression pedal does. Now I can imagine a way to design it.

Yeah, the Expression Control device is actually incredibly powerful. So many use-cases!

Thanks a ton Martlin, these tuts are great! I've just cutting over from Studio One, and I'm on Live 12 Lite at the moment. I had a question about a weird behavior when working in the Velocity lane bekow a clip. If I left click int the "Lane Swap" area, I see a Chance parameter. If I click it, I get the Chance Randomize % field and the Group buttons, but the actual lane disappears, and I am unable to ever get it back. The little arrow pointing to the left next to the word Chance toggles the fields , but the Lane is gone for good. I've found no way to get any lanes back on the screen unless I start a new project. If I never select Chance, all seems good with Velocity only. Have you ever seen this behavior. It certainly feels like a bug, but I'm brand new to Live so I'm double checking with an expert. I'm thinking maybe Chance is not enabled in Lite, but this toggle did not get removed. Thanks again for all your great content. You've helped a ton!

I think you might be correct and the chance option is not available in Lite, but is still able to be clicked, which may be an oversight on the developer part. I would recommend reaching out to Ableton Support and letting them know of the issue! They're generally really helpful. :)

@@matttinklermusic Thanks for the reply. The issue went away when I upgraded from lite yesterday, so all is good. (and yes Support was great as I navigated needing both 11 and 12 licenses) Appreciate your work, and I'm really your content as I ramp up. Your micro explanation of controls and parameters as you explain a workflow or feature is super helpful to a Live noob. (example- the Transient Envelope Force Mode in Warp settings) Ok...back to bingeing your vids. Cheers!
