Hi I’m auditioning for drama next week but I’ve recently developed a love for musical theater and I was wondering if I could still do musical theater/train/audition even though I’m doing drama
Sorry, I'm sorry I'm just now seeing this. If I;m understanding the question correctly... when you audtion (Regardless for what) they will place where they best see fit. After they place you in that studio it depends on what their training is like that you recieve training in voice, movement, etc. You won't be able to switch out of that studio for primary (two years). Hope that helps, and I'm not too late!

Great video! Learned a lot about the audition process at Tisch. I honestly really wanna get into Tisch, but I'm a bit confused right now; So like, even if I'm not interested in singing or dancing, I still need to audition for those? Or is it like you get to choose which category you want to audition in? Thanks!!!

How old are the freshman? I’m 20 applying and will be 21 if I get in. Am I too old?
ILive Motivated not at all... my roommate is 21 , it depends but most are 18 or 19

you can audition for just drama, but you have to complete two years in your drama department before you start the program for screen acting. The drama departments are stage acting.
