Ron ron! He got Mike's strong arms and hands. Kobe messed him up in 09 West semis and joined Kobe the following yr. That's how tough Kobe's is. Mike is tough but he got the superior anatomy than Kobe, that's made kobe even tougher. Because he knew he got an inferior anatomy than other NBA greats, but he just psychollogically superior than them.

He was one of one in his era. Before Jordan shooting guard wasn’t really considered a strong position. George Gavin & Pete Maravich were the only really high level SG’s before him. When Mike came in there was never a two guard with his attributes, the dogs were small
Forwards & Centers. Here came Mike bigger, faster & stronger , more athletic than anyone had ever seen alone never mind the position. Only one close during his era was Clyde Drexler. So I can’t say that’s what separated him.

Thanks for your honesty. I'm from the Bronx. Grew up in the 70s and 80s. Most fights back then started out with " watchu gonna do?".....then the hesitation.....then the PUSH. Believe me that PUSH determines what your next move will be. Just talking from experience. Also Ben kept coming forward, Ron never made no attempt to come forward.

In today's all star game these players are not in it for the fun and competition of the game. The all Star game to me is like practice or watching the Harlem Globe Trotters. It's like they are just going through the motions, know what I mean? They are a bunch of babies or just coming into puberty. Can't understand it. It's all about the fiat, we'll play for your fiat and for the love of the game. They don't play for the love of the game showing their skills and who is the best or dominant player. It's like when my nephews played pee wee basketball at the end of the season everyone gets a trophy even those on the losing team, hell they didn't even keep score! C'mon people you are not building character in your child, most of them are being turned into zombies!
