Quick story- I moved to Cali when I was 21. Ended up in a house by the beach rat packed with bartenders/students. I had the room on the top floor converted from a porch. One of my first days at the spot, I walked out front, looked to my left, and one of my neighbors came over to introduce himself. “Hi, I’m Paul.” Coolest dude ever. Turned out he had the top room next door. In HB the tall stucco houses by the beach are separated by about 20-30 feet. So, many a night we’d be outside on our porches just b*llshittin. He never brought up anything Hollywood. Super humble. Just a good dude. Always asked about me. Since then I’ve met more than a handful of celebrities. Not one has held a candle to Paul. RIP bro. The world got a little bit darker when that light went out.
