To address the "I hate the Astros" comments, the making of this video was me going to Baseball Savant, searching for home runs in the playoffs since 2016, sorting by distance in descending order then picking all the home runs over 440 (I think) feet. I'm sorry your team hasn't hit nukes *that far* in their playoff appearances and that they gave up a lot of them. I don't decide who does what; I'm just trying to make enjoyable, digestible content. ♥
Not surprising since the Stros have been to the ALCS/WS every year since 2017. Besides Yordan and on rare occasions Springer, nobody else on those teams was really known for hitting absolute nukes. As an Astros fan I gotta say though it’s good you posted that comment to clarify hahaha
@@joejones5125 That’s the thing. There’s been an unreal amount of hate online for the Astros since the scandal and we’re used to it. It’s easy to ignore, so if he didn’t clarify we could have just assumed it’s more hate and found other highlight videos/channels.
I was bartending in the Gallagher suite at Minute Maid during game 6 of the World Series vs the Braves. It left the ballpark, most devastating blast I’ve ever seen. Sucked the gravity out of the place. Thankfully the next year Yordan went yard and sealed it.
I don’t believe that Contreras homer was longer than Schwarber’s, as a Padres season ticket holder I had never seen a bomb to the upper deck in right until Schwarber hit that nuke. One of the most underrated homers of the postseason
2:30 “High fly ball, goodbye! One pitch to springer and we’re tied again” one of the best games, one of the best calls, and the situation springer put the team in just to instantly redeemed himself. Beautiful
I would say there’s a clear bias against the Astros and Dodgers here, but those 2 teams are always in the playoffs too so there’s more opportunities against them. Then again, not sure how Yordan’s shot against Robbie Ray didn’t make it here. That defined nuclear
I respect the hell out of Albert. But that made me a lifelong Cardinals hater. They whooped us so many times, and when we finally got "good"... That homer.
4:45 has 2 things I thought were abnormal. An AL playoff game being played in Dodger Stadium, and even weirder, the A's being good enough to make the playoffs
as a braves fan 0:52 was niceeeee.... 2021 was such a awesome run to the title, it sucks that in 2022 they had like 13 more wins then 2021 but they went one and done in 2022, but when soler hit that bomb i was like this is it.. this is where they close it out tonight
The Braves letting Freddie Freeman go is one of the biggest blunders in baseball's recent memory. He could have been an all-time Brave who spent his whole career with the team a la Chipper Jones.
Goddammit, this video is great. Each one just makes me go, "holy shit" even more than the last. Wish my Giants were more involved, but 2014 was probably the last time we were relevant in the playoffs 😂. (Yes, I know we've made it since)
This creater has something against the Astros haha. So many Astros pitchers giving up non nuclear home runs in this. While I know for a fact Astros had some nuclear bombs on their win to the World Series that weren’t in this.
Watched the video first and noticed quite a few clips were homers against the Astros. I said to myself hmm I bet of the 166 comments about 150 of them are Astros fans complaining about that and accusing the creator of bias because they hate the Astros....I was not disappointed.
Ugly way for that to end with that check swing strike that wasn't. But at least we made several Giants fans happy among other fans by avenging our fumble in the '20 NLCS against the Dodgers.

No complaints here I found this content very enjoyable!
Idk why anyone would care if u hate the Astros or not. They just won the championship so who cares about what the haters think of them😂😂😂

Hey, you should pin this comment so that its easier to see. Anyone who didn't scroll far may miss it.
nothing tops dusty’s “oh lord”
Saw the curve out of the hand and knew what was happening.
God, Dusty's just so cool.

My personal favorite was the 'goddammit!!' watching Soler's 3-run bomb.
Only thing I’m gonna agree w a Mets fan for
As an Astros fan who was at the game, the Soler Game 6 homer should be higher up. That was a devastating blast
Also this video needs more Yordan
The world needs more Yordan. Very excited to watch his career.
I was there as well. That ball took all the energy out of the park with it
I agree, I was there too
I agree, I was there too
this is ordered by how far the ball traveled
Looking back and seeing Austin Riley hitting 9 makes the braves seem way more scary
Yes
I was bartending in the Gallagher suite at Minute Maid during game 6 of the World Series vs the Braves. It left the ballpark, most devastating blast I’ve ever seen. Sucked the gravity out of the place. Thankfully the next year Yordan went yard and sealed it.
Jorge Soler's HR will always be my favorite.
I don’t believe that Contreras homer was longer than Schwarber’s, as a Padres season ticket holder I had never seen a bomb to the upper deck in right until Schwarber hit that nuke. One of the most underrated homers of the postseason
It was probably close. Contreras hit his 500 feet
It’s not underrated lol. It was on every top 10 list I saw for the season
Harper's reaction is gold too
you mean overrated
Jorge solers was the best in recent history it was insane
I swear Soler sent that ball to the moon.
left the stadium at that. pretty much sealed the WS.
Alternate title- “I found every homer against the astros”
Fax
I mean, they're in playoffs like every year. So it's bound to happen
and by the Yankees
the thumbnail too😭
Would honestly be a better title for a good video
2:30 “High fly ball, goodbye! One pitch to springer and we’re tied again” one of the best games, one of the best calls, and the situation springer put the team in just to instantly redeemed himself. Beautiful
Schwarber completely murdered that pitch off Darvis. Absolutely sat on that breaking ball.
Harper's face after Schwarb's jack was great.
Nothing tops better than Schwarber’s Home Run off of Yu Darvish! While Bryce Harper in the Dugout BLOWN AWAY
I would say there’s a clear bias against the Astros and Dodgers here, but those 2 teams are always in the playoffs too so there’s more opportunities against them. Then again, not sure how Yordan’s shot against Robbie Ray didn’t make it here. That defined nuclear
Wasn't far enough. This video is sorted by distance, with the shortest being 440, and that was just shy.
@@cynicanal111 yordan's was 450, it's also extremely rare to see balls hit cleanly and perfectly over that wall
@@silentstorm5439 Yordan homer against Jose Alvarado was 450 not against Robbie Ray
The Yankees are also always in the playoffs but they’re one dimensional
Needs more Yordan Alvarez
I was waiting for Schwarber the whole video
I understand there are a lot of homers against the Astros in this video, but to not have Pujols ruining Brad Lidge's career is a huge oversight.
I respect the hell out of Albert. But that made me a lifelong Cardinals hater.
They whooped us so many times, and when we finally got "good"... That homer.
@@adamtreadway6819 To be fair, you guys won that series easily. That Pujols homerun was just a minor speed bump.
Video seems to all be from the last 3-5 years
@@ronmexico7256 I just saw the uploader of the video posted a comment saying all the videos are after 2016.
Happens when you make the playoffs so often🤣
Man the yordan blast off Alvarado still hurts 😭
How is Yordan’s game 1 homer not nuclear? Literally the only postseason walkoff homer when a team was trailing by more than 1 run.
It’s clearly done by distance.
@@kingicicle nuclear isn’t decided by distance, nuclear is about atmosphere
@@internetexplorer9990 Well that’s not what the poster decided.
Yordans homer against mariners went 439 ft. That's long enough to be on here. Come on give the man a foot.
brings me nightmares...

Bro must hate the Astros lol
Harpers needing help picking up his jaw will never get old. I miss swarber
no Juan Soto HRs in the WS?? Both were absolutely LAUNCHED
The one on the train tracks in Houston was a BOMB, I waiting for that one but nope
Aaron Judge before dentures makes me cry
"dentures" LOL they're veneers same as Stanton
lol

Clutch strikeouts would be an insane video

He wanted to stay with the braves but his agent lied about their offer
Soler's BLAST was absolutely amazing!!
Every call that wasn’t Joe Buck was brilliant
That guy lives rent free in your head, doesn't he?
still should have put Yordan's walk off
Solers homer live was the most epic thing of all time
I’m just imagining the day future fans watch this video without remembering how MLB used cardboard fans during the pandemic 😂
Lol!
I love when bad things happen while a manager/coach is being interviewed lmao
2:14 Dusty Baker's live reaction is my 2nd favorite moment in the history of baseball on TV (only beaten by the Castellanos 4-0 ballgame incident)
The fact that jorge soler's game 6 rocket Isn't number one is a travesty. You sir do not appreciate the magnificence of that homerun
That Contreras home run was INSANE.
Can we just give Don Orsillo the rights to call the World Series?
Beggin' the host's pardon, but the biggest playoff bomb in recent memory by a longshot was Howie Kendrick against the Dodgers.
This needs Miguel Montero's 2016 NLCS Game 1 Grand Slam followed by Dexter Fowler's solo shot.
Solers was the most nuclear of all, and it's the best call buck has ever had
I’m surprised Soto’s oppo taco onto the train tracks in the 2019 WS didn’t make this one. That thing was launched.
Tell me you're an Astros hater without telling me you're an Astros hater 🤦♂️🤣
When Jorge solar gets ahold of a ball. Good night.
The Jorge Soler homer should’ve been closer to the end of the video. How did the Corey Seager homer right after top that?
Is Pujols’ monster dong in Houston not in here since it hasn’t landed yet?
Sigh, take my up vote.
the lighting at wrigley field is so dramatic
The most surprising part about this video is seeing the A’s on here.
2020 was like an long time ago
Can wait for this season
i miss joe calling baseball games
Thumbnail takes me back
Me: see’s the A’s
Also me: “I thought the title said playoff home runs”
Dodgers giving up so many nuclear bombs
Best one is Howie Kendrick sending the cheatros home in the World Series.
when they get more nuclear and the first clip is aaron judge... this will be good

That Soler Nuke should be at the very end. That was Pujols level.
Seeing Oakland almost jumpscared me😂
That pitch that Soler hit still hasn’t landed yet Houston is still tracking it
you can literally have a compilation of this length with only Albert Pujols
How is Eddie Rosario home run on Beuler not in this video
Im surprised Soto mammoth bomb off Verlander didnt make the cut.
Was expecting a few Astros home runs considering they've been deep in it every year since 2017, but all I got was cope 🤷♂
Can’t believe you didn’t put yordans bomb against the mariners this postseason in this video
dude all of these have happened in like the last 5 years
Banger video
im no baseball fan but it sure is fun watching the biggest hits 🤣
Ngl I don't know why I thought I was going to see explosions after each homer lol.
Soler Power will always be my favorite.
just proves the astros giveth and they also taketh away.
soler homer criminally low
No bellinger game 7 home run?
soler’s game 6 hr is still going
5:35 may have never landed
I think you mean 0:52

How do you define “nuclear?” I feel as if it was CRIMINAL omitting Yordan’s walk off vs the M’s in gm 1 ALDS
Like “nuclear” as in wild, game changing, clutch, chaotic, dealing with the atmosphere or “nuclear” as in distance?
“They get more nuclear” and yet Jorge Soler happened at 0:55
5:37 Stanton's bat speed is insane
soler’s hit should’ve been towards the ends that shit was a rocket

Missing a ton of Red Sox bombs against the Yankees as well as the three grand slams against the Astros
