I hope you all enjoyed this video, I put a hell of a lot into trying to do this place and the history justice. If you want to visit for yourself, see information below.
    🌟 GUIDED TOURS & DAY TRIPS 🌟
🚙 From Warsaw: Guided Day Trip by Car: gyg.me/9GPXtkvx
🚗 From Warsaw: Guided Day Trip by Car / Van: shorturl.at/EkZY6
(Unfortunately there is very little options with regards to day trips from Warsaw, so it is quite expensive. But the cost is a lot more feasible with 2 or more people). Without a car, getting to nearby Ketrzyn from Warsaw can take around 6 hours by train one way, so a day-trip option with guided tour may be the only feasible option.

“This is a place full of so much dark history. Engineered by people who have left a dark mark against humanity for an eternity, yet just 80 years later, the place is reclaimed by the indifference of nature”. What an awesome thought. Nature reclaiming what were horrors and bringing it back to beauty, it’s what nature does.

My son and I explored here in summer 2019 for about five hours and we ducked under every Barrier to get entry to everywhere,he also climbed those metal ladder rungs to the top of the very high bunker and I took photos plus I took many photos inside the bunkers, there is a weird atmosphere in some of them and it's quite a dangerous place with bits of metal sticking out etc plus the mosquitos were really bad and it was very hot there.Great explore, can't wait to return.

Hi Ben, Thanks for this awesome video highlighting Wolf's Lair. The video was very fascinating and informative as always.
It must have been a very chilling experience to walk through it's remains. They must have tour groups as I could see a group of people walking by you.
The day or day's you filmed this, the weather looked perfect. Looks like you had abundant Sunshine. Even though many terrible things happened there it is good the the area is maintained and very clean of any debris. The large trees are very stately and stunning to see.
It was an honor to be the first to view this video. I wish you the very best in growing your channel. It is obvious that many hours of work go into creating this production so hopefully you will be rewarded for all your hard work.
Take care Ben until next time.

The threat to Hitler’s life was so common, he was known to make all of his staff eat their meals an hour before him so that he could watch to make sure the food wasn’t poisoned.

Ben, this was an informative video. Since these bunkers were blown up before the arrival of the Russians, and have gradually deteriorated over time, it would be unsafe to enter any of these buildings. I believe you can get a train from Gdańsk to Olzystn, then possibly onto Ketrzyn but you may have to get a coach to Ketrzyn. Wolf’s Lair is then about 10 minutes drive from Ketrzyn (taxi is best).
It would be an incredibly long day if you done it in one go, but possible.

@@BenRobson123 thanks for the reply Ben, came across your videos today was we are spending 6 nights from Poznan upto Gdansk, but really fancy visiting the Wolfs lair always had an interest in as it has a deep history with Claus von Staffenburg and the failed plot to kill Hitler, suppose if it was a secret headquarters it's not going to be near a main city is it 🤣 great videos by the way will give the Poznan video a watch too, thanks for the information much appreciated

Quite incredible they've turned this into the museum it is now. Few years ago it was all overgrown and abandoned, you could go anywhere you wanted. certainly no fancy brick pathways. The skeletons found earlier this year were found to be ancient, it seems they built Goering's house over an old graveyard.

    One part you missed,
The room where the bomb went off . That was not the original meeting room they were going to use .
The meeting was moved I believe due to the heat of the day
The alternative meeting room had windows where the original did not .
The windows were opened due to the heat .
I’d it was in the original meeting room everybody inside would have been dead as there would be nowhere for the blast energy to escape.
The bombs explosive impact was lessened due to open windows .
