The misapphrension of the inkwell phenomenon is not unique to inkwells but rather part of a broader trend and feature of human beings being stuck in their own heads and limited in their ability to perceive things beyond their own experience. This is particularly pernicious when it comes Inkwells because the category they are in affords them virtually every disadvantage possible when looking at them from the outside but as stated, this is not unique to inkwells and cuts across every facette of human existence.

Yes, people have a more positive reaction towards attractive individuals, it's crazy how many people have been brainwashed to think otherwise, when it's so evident in every facet of life.
The fact we had to create a "theory" to explain this is insane to me, it's gaslighting on a macro-scale in order to protect individual egos.

Also the reason why everyone hates inkwells is because anybody who is ugly, poor or stupid, constantly shines a mirror of potentiality on them, telling: "this is how you could've ended up too, had the universe decided so. and there is nothing you can do to get out of it". People simply don't want to be reminded of the harsh reality.

It's true that smart people have a brain blind spot of assuming others are as equally talented. Friedrich Gauss, perhaps the greatest mathematician of all time, was quoted saying that the reason for his perceived genius was because he spent more time on problems than other people. That's from a guy that solved a 1500 years old problem in mathematics at the age of 15.

I have the issue of assuming that everybody views the world from my moral and ethical perspective. Their moral compass is not based on what is right or wrong, it is based more on how it makes them feel. People with lower self-esteem, in my experience, have lower standards of what counts as moral and immoral. Where as I feel like my standards are common sense, there are a lot of people who would disagree.
One of the most shocking thing is that people view being "nice" to other people as being a good person. I view it as being socially manipulative, and not actively doing something physically constructive. Most people want to be seen sounding good, but are not really interested in doing good acts.

My response. Given that morals and ethics are learned and not innate it is obvious to me that people do not share the same morals. One of the main benefits of reading John Locke is that I've come away with an understanding that the knowledge and beliefs that people hold are learned and are not inscribed from birth. Therefore every skill, ability, knowledge that another person wields is learned. There are no such thing as naturals. People do not know algebra from birth and I would say poppycock to anyone who would dispute this. In fact knowledge from birth is exceptionally limited.
That said, some people may have an easier time learning things. But having an easier time is not the same thing as knowing mathematics from birth.

I just got done watching Morgoth's "the hatchling" video about liberals and I realized it perfectly describes why people don't get inkwells. I used to call this concept "pretending not to understand" but "the hatchling" is an even better descriptor. It's as if they hatched from an egg 5 minutes ago with no prior knowledge of history, humanity, how people and groups interact with each other, or how anything works at all. You are then tasked with explaining everything to them while they pretend not to understand. It's exhausting, and they end up simply wearing you down over time until you no longer have any will to continue indulging them. Then they claim victory.

Most of your issues are emotional. I cannot control how you feel. I can sympathize with your suffering, but ultimately, I cannot understand why it matters to you. When it comes to emotional issues, most are chains that you have self-inflicted around your life. So you cannot do certain things, but does that mean that you can't do something else? It is a down spiral of self-pitying, and I cannot help you feel better when that is only something you can do for yourself. Being reasonable and delusional are concepts that most people struggle with. If you are not meant to be something, why do you torment yourself for that? Why not seeking something else that you can do?

For a lot of people, sex and relationships are common to the point where the majority of them don't imagine a world where they can't achieve them. If we put things like autism aside, then the problem with many of these guys (myself included) is due to a lack of good looks. It's not a warm fuzzy feeling to recognize that looks determine a lot in life, and if you lack those looks, including height as a man you will have demonstrable differences in your experience trying to date than the average guy. Again, we are putting things like autism aside and assuming that the guy is neurotypical.
Until it happens to them, a lot of people don't and won't care about something, and our experiences are individualized. My mind and experiences are different than what you have. For some people, sex just isn't a big deal - and I think a lot of these other guys see it as them being left out of something that many others can achieve for reasons out of their control. You can change your weight, you can change the clothes you wear, get a haircut, etc but usually you cannot change height or basic genetics that make up your appearance. You can make more money, you can try to gain a wide range of knowledge to use in conversation, but you can't change height or basic looks. Being judged by what you can't change stings because you're perpetually stuck hitting the same wall. It's also a lot easier for someone to say sex doesn't matter when they have had plenty of it. The lack of sex and the feeling of being forced to go without something common based on things they cannot control surely makes it lonely and unpleasant. Most people will never be billionaires or famous and they accept that as things that happen to only a few people comparatively to the rest of the world. But this is not a billion dollars, rather these men feel denied a common and frankly one of the best human experiences. Most of these guys know that women don't owe them sex, which is contrary to the common argument against them.
What I would say to critics is that I didn't get to pick how tall I am or my basic appearance, so it's not my fault I'm undesirable. Being short and ugly wasn't my choice - hence the involuntary aspect of incel. Even when I max out everything else, I'm never going to be more than a 5 or 6/10. This is problematic when you have to compete with guys who start the game as a 7/10.

Noticed the same thing. It's disheartening. I've seen how these people will treat a person when they don't meet certain standards. Now, it's important to be fit and healthy for the sheer sake of it, so people's reactions to being fit isn't necessarily a bad thing. However, when you know the people speaking to you now wouldn't even have given you the time of day during the part of your life when you were fighting for the change, when you were down on your luck and struggling to earn that change, it makes you see them kind of like gold diggers.
Oh sure, babe, you're eyeballing me now, but the me from 3 years ago is still here. Would you have been here right now twiddling your hair if I was making less money? If I weighed 20 lbs more?
I get it, people are attracted when you've put the work in and built your confidence, but it doesn't matter to them that the work it took to get there was spawned from people like them treating men as lesser when they are at a point in life where they haven't achieved their dreams.
Ladies will flock to you when you've "earned" that, because women do not care about the real you, they only care about your status. They'll never be there for you when you're a work in progress, when you're trying to improve your circumstances but you just want someone to care.
The irony is that they'll never be more attracted to you than when you've made yourself into the kind of self-sufficient, personally content man that no longer has any need for their love.

Unhealthy people reflect poorly on themselves and on others. I try to have a clean cut appearance, despite my long hair and scruffy beard. I do not want to be seen with drug addicts, the tattooed, the promiscuous, the broke, overweight, the lazy, etc. Overweight people have the stereotype to overcome of being lazy, depressed, and unpleasant to be around. If I was with such a person, it would reflect poorly on me from a social perspective. You would also reflect poorly on whoever you associated with.
The company I keep is more important to me than people's opinion of me being alone. Unhealthy people are like something depressing to be around, and repulsive to interact with. People always want to be around people who are their level or higher. Being around someone who is doing worse than you, there is a chance that you could fall to that level. So you shun people who are doing worse than you.
In my case, I would rather be alone than be seen around people who are doing worse than me.

Most people just say, "You're just not trying, just go down and get a job, take whatever you can get." Doesn't work like that, pal. I've been fired from a commission only job. My brother was fired from a miles only job driving a truck. I've applied for bottom of the barrel jobs and been turned down. I've applied for jobs that required scoring 99% on the LSAT (I did) and been turned down. It doesn't matter. Whatever it is that I'm doing wrong, it negates my ability to get hired no matter what job it is. I've applied for over a thousand jobs, been interviewed over a hundred times, by Walmart and small law firms, and didn't get hired once in the last twenty plus years. In the event any of you "ascend" or improve yourselves to the point that you find yourselves attracting women, I do have to warn you that it is really rough out there. If you are under the impression that you can have a "girlfriend", those don't exist anymore.
Started noticing this trend in women around 2003. The women I were dating were beginning to enjoy the no-strings-attached lifestyle, and monogamy was an outmoded practice. With one of these women, I asked her where we stood in the relationship, and she flat-out said, "Sure, I still date other of guys. This isn't the 1950s!" They didn't even advertise that it was going to be an open relationship, they didn't sneak around, it was just a given.
Having given up on women in 2010, I've heard this dynamic has gotten far worse. Coming home with your "girlfriend" and another guy isn't unheard of anymore. Or she just goes off with another guy mid-date. Point is, even if you satisfy your goal, don't expect her to stick around for long.

Everything we do, work towards, think about, is in some way motivated by our drive to mate. The second obstacle is permanence. This problem arises when we realize nothing lasts forever and is ultimately empty anyway. One can almost get over the inability to mate and the isolation that comes with it. This is why i traveling and being willing to look foolish is important; in order to grow. Most of my life i've been told i'm ugly and dumb, when in my late 20's i realize its the complete opposite. I actually appreciate what i've gone through, as it allowed me to experience different people's perspectives. Ironically, despite coming across the same people who gave me so much negativity, i ended up understanding them a bit. Even the smartest person i ever met, i realized could never understand certain things beyond her own world. Is it wrong to feel bad for her? I'm unsure of the right words to describe my thoughts towards this discovery, but pity wouldn't be far off. Also, these same people that are less attractive physically, from what i've encountered, seem to have other qualities that THEY don''t believe they have. Of course, others wouldn;t give them the time of day. I can't help but empathize with them as i was treated similarly (only for me to find out its just part of certain peoples tricks to keep you from growing). Maybe im wrong, but i'd like to think that they shouldn't be so focused on getting people to like them. i was once like that too, but once i started learning to love myself, things changed. You'd be surprised how "others" also took it. A complete 360! Some tried to keep me down, but got annoyed when i learned to ignore the negativity. It was hilarious at first, but i ended up feeling bad for them. You spend so much time spitting poison, you better be aware that you aren't poisoning yourself too. You spend more time trying to control someone, you may end up unable to empower yourself.
Apologies for the long response, but here's my take.

Your last example highlights a very important concept; intelligence does not equal wisdom. Wisdom is where a person can see things broadly and not within that very self focus you mentioned throughout the video. Experience clearly shows day after day that repulsion / revulsion of the world is to be expected, and it's men that deal with it in a harsher form. I find it makes a man incapable of accepting or comprehending the care of those few individuals who might empathize with their situation.

With that said, much like with Chad Williamson, he almost certainly views it like a fascinated academic stumbling on new zoological research.
Guys like that will never be able to fully empathize. That takes having roughly similar experiences that they can never even come close to. At best, they can lend a tourist's ear to your woes, listening with childlike glee as to how such a piteous creature can continue to exist.
Can't even blame them, really. This is a new concept in the entire history of humanity. We can no longer rely on martial prowess or social contracts to carry the day; all we can do is roll the DNA dice.

It’s a good skill to be empathetic towards others by seeing things from their perspective, but there are some people that will use that to extort others for personal gain unfortunately. Much like how attractive women take advantage of simps & nice guys until they typically had their fun and finally want to settle down. Yet, it’s up to those same men to be honest with themselves and question why those kind of women are even giving them any attention to begin with outside of potential genuine interest.

Flowing with the stream and allowing others treatment of you steer and limit your life does not work without those boons. Everyone is different, but I figured I had to feel that black and white to "beat" it. Most recovered addicts I've met, especially a.a. guys do the same thing. It's a coping mechanism. The only way to beat it is to "just not do it" or you die.

For example, I am always a bit suspicious of someone who dedicates his career to helping people with maladies completely foreign to his own personal experiences. What is an example??? The doctor on My 600-lb. Life who presumably has always been normal weight. On the show, he appears to be extremely compassionate and empathetic and just trying to help people. But, I always wonder what is really going on inside that head??? I have always suspected that there may be some underlying contempt and disdain for the very people that he is ostensibly there to serve. 🤔🤔🤔

The topic of addiction has helped me understand, at least a bit, other problems. I'm the opposite of Stardusk - I could go days without food or sweets as they are indifferent to me, besides necessity, but my bloodline seeks booze at any cost. If I were to superimpose that desire that I know onto, say food, sweets, heroin, women, fast cars, etc... I could perhaps "understand it." I can't personally understand how someone becomes morbidly obese, as I walk at least 10km per day. I then evoke mine issues and it's like "ah, okay, I think I can see a little clearer now."

I'm taller than most males on earth. Do I tower over them like some 6'4" outlier? No, but taller than many to most is more than tall enough. I'm so sick of this dating app height preference nonsense that is not anchored in reality, just like any other current female delusion. What is it up to on the dating apps now? 6'3?" It grows by an inch every year, lol. Ludicrous. The only reason society gets away with this unreasonable height preference is male inadequacy. It's because YOU internalize that taller is better, too. Stop idolizing sports, especially basketball. Only 3% of the US male population is 6'3" or taller. Want to have a war against them? They'd be crushed in an instant, lol. They're nothing. Every bit of an outlier as the 5'3" or below, man. It's all the more ridiculous because this isn't a "beauty is in the eye of the beholder thing." It's totally quantifiable. We have the distribution. Sorry ladies, but it's not mathematically possible for you each to get an NBA player. It's not even statically likely that you'll even encounter a man of those heights in public for more than a brief instant, lol.
